Superb as gitaji u said variation and flexibility I had no turai in delhi it's winter and so I had some lauki I made this chutney with lauki and my son loved it we had it with oat and kale channa chilla oats and kale channe I soaked overnight ground it added onions curry leaves and had with this variation chutney thanks a lot

Thanks a ton for the above mam. Please give us more such tips. Peerkanga thogaiyal rommmmba naal achu senju. I used to grind it in kaloral that used to be unparallel in taste. Andha thogaiyal vessel shape romba azhagu, and thogaiyal also so tempting. Pranaams.
Dear Gita garu, Thank you for sharing this Birrakayi pachadi. I love this pachadi with hot rice and good amt of groundnut oil. As u said we use coconut and some garlic while grinding. We generally use its outer cover and little bit Birrakayi flesh too. It's one of my favourite chatnies. U can also use cooker with one wishel for softening the outer cover. Namaste. We make peerkanga thuvayal very often. Chinna vengayam add panni senju parungo. Tamarind too u must add.... We add one green chilly and few red chilli. It will be very tasty. Thanks for sharing.

Great recipe. So far we have used turai as a bhaji but this chutney is a great way to have it with rice or even roti.
