I wish Terry Matalas is appointed as executive producer for all new Star Trek moving into this next phase of Trek. He injected as much TNG into season 3 as possible.
Love seeing ro larin! Again. I didn't notice her at first when she was walking down that hallway with security. Captain riker Jonathan Frank's top of his game. Excellent acting and as they say probably some of the best he's ever done and I have to agree. He really had emotion and he really hit the points when you needed to. He just did a great job acting phenomenal. That is an understatement
I got a question for you. I've been watching Star Trek since well. The old movies with Kirk and then in 1987 September 29th I believe I know exactly where I was when I watched that first episode of TNG....? Question for you. Have you ever thought about doing a panel on Star Trek? You know so many people as you wanted to just to get together and discuss it. I'm a 48-year-old nerd lol but I love My TREK
I remember watching TOS as a kid with my dad. I've never really considered doing a panel or anything like that, but I'm always eager to talk about my favorite franchises.

@@chattery yeah it's so close for me. I think Star Trek first contact just goes over my thoughts of discovery because I'm an absolute borg fan. As far as storyline goes though undiscovered countries unmatched

Starfleet wasn't defying the Prime Directive in Insurrection. The Baku weren't native to the planet and were just colonists on a planet in Federation Space. Picard and his crew were responsible for the forces relocation of colonist on a few occasions due to Federation need on TNG.
This was great closure for the Ro-Picard story arc. Season 3 Picard was a mega improvement over the previous 2 seasons.

I've always loved the optimistic view of the future that Star Trek offers. Plus the great characters and smart writing.

40:15 having minor experience in the medical field, I can say doctors don’t react unless there’s definite symptoms. Bev clearly thought Jack’s were just nightmares kids have.
With Picard’s history of Eromatic syndrome, she shoulda done been checking Jack for it. Big fail on her part. Unless it doesn’t develop symptoms until a patient is around Picard’s age when he was first diagnosed?
It sounds like it's akin to Alzheimer's, which usually is seen in the elderly. (My brother was early onset at 40.)

Every time I see that scene where Worf is looking up names on the computer with Rafi I can't help but laugh and say "Liquidator Brunt, FCA"
The stabbing of Worf, in ST:TNG its established that Klingons have backup organs for pretty much everything, which makes them effective warriors in hand to hand combat, they have 2 livers, 4 lungs, etc etc. That way you stab them in the heart, the other one keeps them alive and fighting. Doesn't do anything to mitigate the bleeding and pain though lol.
When is that backup organs thing revealed? I vaguely remember that.
@@chattery It was the episode where Worf gets paralyzed by a falling barrel, during the episode Dr. Russel says the klingon body is "over-designed" with double of every organ and an 8-chambered heart, but Dr Crusher says its a contingency design. The episode is called "Ethics" S5E15.
It was also brought up in I, Excretus episode of Lower Decks, and expanded upon in ST:D with the whole "2 sexual organs" talk and urination scene.
16 years is how long this has been a plan by the changelings, but they have had the big bad guy pulling their strings a year or so now…. they found the great link, then they had a full plan
