Which model would you own?
No 6 for me too. I'd have to say these are underpriced. The site says "Temporary suspension of orders" for every model so in practice they can't be bought at any price. Looks like one sold on WatchUSeek two years ago at $4.5k, another on chrono24 for $5.2k
The 7.5 looks like a halter! Very cool!
No: 6 meteorite for sure! Love it! Going to give it a try and order one whenever possible.

I just received No. 6 & 7 after more than 3 years, first started getting my friend in Tokyo to contact Otsuka Lotec in Feb 2019, but they stopped taking any orders at that time, not until June 2020 got notification they started taking new orders again, placed orders for both watches and was delivered in November 2020. But due to Covid travel restrictions, etc. both watches have been at my friend's place in Tokyo since late 2020, until I finally received them from my friend last night and see them in real life for the first time, and I really like it!
Do u want to sell any one of them ?😊
You definitely went with the right choice, it’s beautiful! Meteorite and it looks like a classic retro radio. It’s a win!
Thank you!
Their prices are amazing and so are the watches. I'm in love with unique watches like this
I found this slightly unsettling - rarely in my life have I ever so suddenly and utterly desperately wanted a piece of mechanical unobtanium (potentially) as this... this is just WONDERFUL. That's something I would wear so often it'd probably fuse to my wrist. The boutique Japanese manufacturing makes it even more special, absolutely love it.
Avoid that feeling. These watches are garbage.
@@resumewriterbrian I have never seen one - do you have one? I would be curious to hear your experience
Sure its unique, but their way of obtaining it is just a spit on the face using raffle system, not just watch, even if you wanna watch some of your favorite band/singer live band in japan, you need to join the raffle for the ticket. And the raffle system is simply reject overseas enthusiast in a polite way, i have no idea why but most use this kind of system, even if not raffle, you need at least have a matching address there, from band ticket, custom earphone to watches! Its crazy
@@Izou96 wow so this is how they cope with intense demand? I didn't know this was a thing in Japan, must make buying bespoke items that much more difficult indeed. That's such a shame because this looked so fascinating, I do appreciate it as a way of coping with demand rather than simply increasing the price to astronomical levels.
I'm glad I could help! 5:06
It's a bit out of my price range but I've never, NEVER, seen a more interesting watch. As I watch collector I'm a bit odd in that I've never had a grail watch in mind but that changed after seeing this beautiful and unique watch. Nice review and absolutely stunning watch.
Thank you for showing to us another dedicated watchmaker who materializes his vision.
It's my pleasure!
Thank you for bringing this unique and beautiful watch. Your videos are very good. I enjoy watching them. Greetings from Turkiye.
It's my absolute pleasure, glad you like the videos!
Tried to order a few watches from these guys ages ago (a few for a group of friends). Could. Not. Get. A. Response. At. All. Congrats. Glad to see a video with more shots of this watch.
I love it. All of them especially the 7.5 and the prices are really good for such a handmade watch. Plus the whole "low-tech" thing is great, I've always worked in tech and that really appeals to me. I really hope we can get past misaligned screws too, that's hilarious to me for some reason. I blame Gerald Genta, its his fault really.
This is awesome thanks for showing us some rare interesting watches!!!
Glad you like it Chris, that's kinda my job here :)
@@SwissWatchGang just not good for my wallet...
@@WatchChris You and me both bro haha
Ok, this is so cool. Industrial and reasonable. Great video as always. All models under temporary suspension. Wonder what the wait time is? I have inquired.
Thanks!
Been looking at this for couple of months, love the no. 6. How is servicing the watch?
It's essentially a Miyota base movement, so probably not as challenging as it appears.
Nice, servicing we'll see, no idea yet.
Very unique. It's kinda what is missing in the industry now days. Seems very well thought out. I am impressed by this company. They are artisans for sure. A+++

That screw head looks very rough.

The featured watch certainly looks the best. A nice open design and I like the resemblance to an analog instrument.
Thank you so much for creating content for these unknown watch makers. I'm so sick of hearing about Rolex and Omega that I immediately move on as soon as I realize that's what the video is about. My watch buying journey went from cheap watches I got because I liked the look of them, to hunting down my favorite RM, AP, Panerai and Hublot to now... at this point I have all of the high end pieces I wanted... now I'm after stuff that's different. And you are the only channel that caters to those of us who are bored with the known watch brands. Thank you!
It's my pleasure Mandy. Not changing course anytime soon :)
You must try Indian watches in that case. They're fairly unknown to the western world. Check out the websites of brands like Titan (which is a luxury focused Indian brand), HMT (which is an initiative under the Government of India) you can call them the watches for the people, they're nice looking, cheap and pretty durable, their vintage models are hot with Indian watch collectors as of date and lastly Jaipur Watch Company (it is a fairly new designer watch brand) their watches pay an homage to the Indian culture, with watches having ancient Indian metal soldering techniques (called filigree) and having watches embedded with pre independent coins as dials, depicting the history of the country. Pretty unique imo.
I love that watch !!! Thanks for sharing it
Congrats man! The watch in itself has a really nice industrial feel but with the meteorite dial, that's next level! Love it!
Thank you!
This looks very interesting. I love the design and how the dial moves.
Excellent presentation of a unique time machine
Beautiful! And the strap! Really suits the watch!
Thank you Marko and enjoy your latest acquisition in good health, it's a gorgeous watch indeed.
What a brilliant piece!
Awesome, love that design and the color scheme is amazing as well. Thanks Marko :D
Thanks Abdul!
Wish the seconds was also moving in a retrograde fashion. like a speedometer feel.
That would be awesome!
The designers at Bell & Ross are kicking themselves for not coming up with this design. Great and unusual looking watch. My only reservation is finding someone to perform maintenance on such a unique piece.
Finally a watch collector channel that isn’t annoying
Japan never cease to amaze!
I’ve been really impressed with the Silberstein and Halters collabs before, but this is the first one ordered. Makes me wish I owned them all. Looking forward to future collabs with other masters of watchmaking.
PS-I know the regulator is LE core DNA, but I don’t think they necessarily need to base every collab on the regulator. Bringing the famous watchmaker’s style and substance to this price point matters more than using the regulator. But for this Chaykin collab, the regulator is perfect.
Super beautiful.. Art of Craft...
I so like this watch my friend . Hope to see it in person soon 🙏🏻
This piece is super cool, innovative and very unique. I do wish the visibility was better - as in say blue hands against the dial rather than the same colour.
Glad you like it. So far I didn't have any problems with it, you get used to the layout and colors.
I really love the idea 💡 of introducing collectors to a totally different brand and design.
Those watches are TOO COOL!!
Very nice. Better described as dieselpunk than steampunk
This watch is so cool.
This meteor dial one is a winner. Congrats. Would invest in it if i could
As a collector of vintage Weston, Triplett, Phoastron etc panel meters, this watch makes me fizz.
Awesome technique 👏👏👏👍🤞🫡
Lovely watch but the screw head slots look rough as if an incorrect screwdriver size has been used.
looks great....nice big watch...great for a collection... looks like a geigerteller....
from Spain
Stellar dial layout and design! Looks like the instrument it IS!
yea, really industrial
@@SwissWatchGang Love the gauges vibe!
Reminds me of vintage Stewart Warner tachometers in 60's hot rods and or Isspro and Hewitt Pyrometers (exaust temp) gauges I ran in my Cummins powered trucks back in the 80's and 90's. Straight forward, precise information reading instruments with no bling like gauges started to get in the later years.
I still think the good ole 2" diam. black face, chrome bezel Stewart Warner gauges look the best. And that watch fits description to a T. I like it. And to be turned loose in that shop with Lathe, mill and all that tooling i would feel like a kid in a candy store again. Not much i could not make or repair with that kind of shop.
Love the watch. Brass gear racks visible below the hands and a Miyota 9015 powering it, NICE. I have several Vaer divers with Miyota 9039. Very nice finish on them and they run like a top.
Your a lucky guy to have one with meteorite dial. That's a keeper!
Excellent & keep adding new videos related with new watch maker thanks
Will do!
That’s super cool!
i love it! reminds me of a VU meter on a classic amp the nr 6 is deffo the one to get. lol also that vacheron with the map dial blew my mind!
Nice watch
Very Cool Watch!
Very cool !! 👌👌👍👍
Loved this. Your videos are always amazing. You make me love this hobby for sure my friend! It would be so cool to be able to just hang out with you, Admire your pieces and chat about all kinds of stuff! 💯🔥 Thanks for keeping things fresh!
Thank you!
@@SwissWatchGang anytime. Always an absolute pleasure seeing your content. Badass taste in some badass watches my friend 😎
@@XxXHardcoreshredderxXXxxxxxxxx Thank you!
Very, very cool. I’m kinda jealous. Love the dial too. Lucky man! 👏
Thank you!
@xSWISS_WATCHE_GANG you melt
Dang! that is so cool! I like the old instrument style face. Makes me wish I had a watch that looked like an old stereo VU meter
Awesome watch! Would you please share the process of ordering and how’s your experience look like? Thank you!
Thanks. The process was, Instagram DM's, email on website, facebook group, the instagram collector I mention and than rinse and repeat xD
Such a BEAUTY.
This is a crazy watch. I need one of these.
An interesting take on reading a watch.
Stunning!
awesome watch - so cool
Glad you like it.
If it could also chime on the hour I'd love it.
Seeing the Lotec lineup, I have to choose either the 7.5 or the no. 6. The meteor dial face is beautiful, excellent choice.
Can't go wrong with either.
Great Watch, exceptional design
Glad you think so.
What kind of strap so you have on the otsuka? Is it factory
The gray strap came with the watch yes.
Dope timepiece!
Awesome😍❤️
Very nice watch.
This is such an awesome watch. I would go with the model you got. It looks like an mimics the look of the old Macintosh receivers and amplifiers that used analog gauges. I am surprised you didn’t mention that in your review. Or maybe you did. Very cool watch.
Hit it on the head
Lucky you. ⌚ Long time lurking that beauty. Enjoy it!
Thank you!
How much is the No. 6 Meteorite version ? Thks
Ouuuuft, thats a sick piece bro! Bring it to W/W I wanna see it in person haha!
Will try broski, too many watches to bring already xD
Thank you for your videos
My pleaa
sure
Love this watch beauty. Great value brand for unique and hand-made pieces!
You mentioned another video about misaligned screws (or getting over them!), but you forgot to add the link in the description. Please share…
Glad you like it! Here's the video: th-cam.com/video/Nbe2dCnMC14/w-d-xo.html
Nice and unique👍
Thanks
Is it for 110 or 220? Also, do they make one for DC ??? 😁
What a cool timepiece!
Thanks!
Congrats on the acquisition. Due for a SOTC? Haha
Thank you! SOTC probably end of the year, I'm selling off a few things here and there. :)
im heading to Tokyo this Friday…see if i can find this there…
Good luck!
It looks so cool and special. Like an old mete (o) ring device.
hehe yea
I'd say it's a reboot of a Sectora by Jean d'eve. Very cool.
oh come on the price is cheap for the time to make this. i really love it thanks for this discovery. I have the most unique collection because it's only one of a kind pieces and it's hand made. nothing very expensive but i love my taste. even this watch is not one of a kind but i would like to add it to my collection one day.
Glad you like it, I have some cool new watchmakers coming in the next weeks on the channel! Well, if we nit-pick every meteorite is unique because of it's patter but I know what you mean.
I love how it looks like a vintage gauge inside a car something that might read volts I'll give you your fuel level
Small correction: "日常生活" in "日常生活防水" doesn't mean "practical" but "daily life", the waterproofing indication means "daily life waterproof".
Is the movement of the watch number 6 auto or manual, sir, thanks.
auto
Easily the most interesting / cool watch that has been on your channel.
And I desperately want one, the price is just perfect.
Thanks, yea the price and performance is great on this one.
That is very cool. On the website all orders are suspended 😢
Unfortunately...

Bonito reloj y barato 😎
wow this one looks awesome, never thought I would like a Japanese watch but here I am wondering how I can get my hands on one.
You never know until you see it :)
No 6, but their site states sales only to a Japanese address. No international shipments. What suggestions do you have to have one purchased and shipped to the US?
very unique design, very nice 😊
Thanks!
What a beautiful watch! Maybe a nice touch would have been a single red indice on the running seconds, for every minute passing.
Something red would be cool although I like the monochromatic look overall
@@SwissWatchGang or just black then. Should be enough contrast.
Very cool and unique, but I would worry about servicing the watch. Miyota movements are common, but I wouldn't be confident with just any Watchmaker working on it.
Should be fine. The movement is simple and I fortunately know many watchmakers that can service it, depends what the price will be of course.
What a great watch!
Happy to see you like it.
I love it
I want one!!!!
I would love to see them team with a maker that could make a more affordable version of this model.
Great review. Hey, where are you in Switzerland? Also, did you consider flying to Japan to meet with Otsukalotec? -Frank
I hope there's a watch that exist that looks like the Otsuka Lotec No.6 that is cheaper, can't afford an Otsuka as of the moment.
Very nice ! I want to buy one.
Thanks! Contact the brand, links in description.
I love my Lip retrograde, kinda same but vintage
Nice yes!
