Just another one of the fuck ton of bands that made a few sick albums then just couldn't shake the urge to start writing watered down boring brain dead music
@@skyreach669 i think we, the fans... and record labels are to blame for that. These bands come out with bangers that they had time to write, perfect, and record as they saw fit. The fame comes, and now were demanding them on tour and releasing new music. The label makes them drop something every other year (idk that for fact, just an example) and suddenly you get watered down music with the lack of creativity the first few albums had. Just my two cents, not that it matters.
Eddie Goebel yeah i went to one the hell in the hallways tour dates but when i saw them packing the lead singer was face to face with another guy shit was about to go down
I can't believe this is the same band that made Whom It May Concern, and I mean that in the best way possible. Help! fits in with some of the best albums of the year (Point Oblivion, Skeleton Youth Forever) while still being unique and a testament to Sylar's progress as a band. Much exceeded my expectations, and this video is amazing too.
Funny enough, me and my buddy discovered these guys at warped because we were waiting for after the burial to start, and we just turned to their stage and jammed out to the last part of their set, was blown away by this song.
From the perspective of a humble Texan boy, I can definitely tell that they're from the North-Eastern part of the States! I love the sound that they bring! Very unique and catchy.
First Verse: Fuck yeah, make em bounce mate. Pre- chorus: HYPE HYPE SCREAMS LUNGS OUT. Chorus: Goes into a trance, closes eyes, and lip bites because that is one sexy fucking chorus. Second verse: Cries of perfection. Bridge / Breakdown: YAH BOI YOU KNOW WHAT IS IS. Outro: DIES.
So stoked for the new album. Met them 2 years ago in Atlanta opening for Emmure and have been listening to them everyday since. The new vibe they have definitely will bring more attention that they deserve!
Sylar released this song at such good timing. I haven't been able to relate to a song so well in years. Really gets me in the feels. These guys only get better and better.
Emmure, Of Mice & Men, Islander, Cane Hill, Sworn In, Hactivist, Issues, From Ashes To New, King 810, Kissing Candice, Fire From The Gods, Scare Don't Fear, Stray From The Path, and now Sylar. This whole "Nu Metalcore/Nu Metal revival" thing is blowing up and I fucking love it.
Thx man! Some for you: Facewreck, Omerta, Wage War, A Broken Silence, Riverline, I prevail, SHVEPS, Dealer, Tallah, Sevendust, Somewhere To Call Home, Blood Youth
I remember seeing them live in Houston at Walter’s. They opened for Invent Animate and Erra. I bought a dad hat from Sylar’s merch table, and I will keep it forever as it’s the last thing I have to remember my best friend who took me to that concert, but sadly he passed away last year from cancer. I miss you Blake.
the one dude really sounds like vic fuentes. im diggin how issues kind of created their own genre and people are actually taking it and making some amazing stuff with it. Issues is good for when I'm in a poppy mood. This is good for when I'm going through a break up or something lol now we need a thrash band to take this style to the next level
I don't see any similarity to Vic, but alright. And Issues defintley didn't create this type of music or combination of genres...But I'm glad you like it.
kill_liberty your right but issues is the first band to blend country, rnb, hip hop, and metalcore, in that particular fashion. Just like korn wasnt to first band to blend hip-hop and metal, but there's really not band that preceded korn that sounds like them, if that makes sense
DUDES! I dunno how this video has only been viewed 4 thousand times... I'm probably 1000 of them haha killer track, can't wait to hear the album guys! Keep up the awesome work lads
This song is actually my current favorite, it's been on replay since release... It's still not old to me and it's been replayed soooo many times, it's addicting.
I really hope their guitarist sings alot more like this on the new record. I was never a big fan of these guys but this has my attention. Preordered already.
just heard this for the first time last night and absolutely love it already.. the chorus is especially beautiful.. though I will say it kinda reminds me of the dude from Pierce the Veil.. lol
New wave of hardcore (nucore): Beartooth (Papa Roach) My ticket home (Slipknot) Stray from the path (RATM) Sylar (Linkin Park) Islander (Deftones) Love&Death (Korn) Former (Drowning Pool) . . . . . . . I (y) it!, and even Dillinger Escape Plan is the new Faith No More, but more hardcore, evident.
I miss this era of Sylar. They were at the top of the game.

I mean... At this point I kinda just miss Sylar in general

I heard this song on octane the other day. I'm glad they're finally getting more exposure this blew my expectations.
+James Smith I really enjoy seeing their progression from their first album to this. It's incredibly interesting.
Not even five seconds in and I'm already hooked... this fucking sick. NU METAL IS COMING BACK.
Eddie Goebel they sound exactly like in the video when they play it live I saw them play live last Wednesday
Mysterious Wolf dude that's dope. I have so much respect for bands that can perform their music well live.
Eddie Goebel yeah i went to one the hell in the hallways tour dates but when i saw them packing the lead singer was face to face with another guy shit was about to go down
saw em last thursday in clifton park ny, they were fucking sick.
I agree completely, this Nü metal revival is all I could of hoped for and more.
i dont know why but this song makes me feel nostalgic...
I got a nu-metal vibe from this song, the beginning part sounds like almost every album that came out in 2000 or 2001
I thought Lincoln park and soad after the guitar wahwah turntable scratch kind of sound and when it drops.
+FreddyNoGxxd definitely reminds me of Lincoln park
+Nicole Leann Linkin Park*
Project Wyz!
Love it. Queens is taking over.

kill_liberty YES. Completely agree.
So glad you brought up P.O.
I'm glad this band is getting huge, their sound is unique and amazing :)
Master 12's, pirate blacks, shadow 1's, Gianni Mora, preme box logo hoodie and north face collab. The heat is insane in this video
along with that Hard to Kill shirt
Pretty much what I was saying watching the video lol glad to see metal isn't just for the metal heads anymore
+Jonathan Ruiz i completely agree
+Hunter Brizzi yeahhhhhh boy that htk
and the rick owens
Saw these guys last year on tour and these guys have stepped their game up with their new material. These guys kick so much ass.
That chorus just makes it hard for me to fall asleep.
Funny enough, me and my buddy discovered these guys at warped because we were waiting for after the burial to start, and we just turned to their stage and jammed out to the last part of their set, was blown away by this song.
I would have loved to see them live at Warped tour!
The chorus is freaking amazing
This got me back to the old Nu-Metal days
Love it!
Song still hitting 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Heard them on octane so I decided to check them out. I love this song!

+Teneishia Coleman same

This band is insanely good, and this intro was killer
I just cant stop listening this song! it blows my mind!!

DONT SLEEP ON THIS BAND
damn, i forgot about sylar. Glad to see them growing into their own. Dope track
that part at 1:30 completely took me by surprise, i got real chills. so haunting sounding, reminds me of something off of issues by korn.
this song is amazing, and emotional, and calming.
These guys were freaking awesome Sunday! So much energy and emotion into their music! Definitely gonna see them again when I get the chance.
This is so Nu Metal I feel like I just stepped oou of a time machine. I love it.
#NuMetalRevival
*out
this djent hop is the new nu metal
The beginning has heavy ties to Somewhere I Belong by LP
it's something like Nu Post hardcore
check out Cane Hill
Sylar released this song at such good timing. I haven't been able to relate to a song so well in years. Really gets me in the feels. These guys only get better and better.
His voice gives me life. Holy fuck.
Salve daqui de São Paulo, Brazil irmãos do Sylar.

This whole "Nu Metalcore/Nu Metal revival" thing is blowing up and I fucking love it.
Fun Fact. The lead singer in this band is/was Emmures tour manager or something along them lines
don't forget Darke Complex
Bestintheworld182 Traitors went from Downtempo deathcore to nu-metal but it's a fucking awesome sound all the same

Can't wait to see them at warped tour hype asf love Sylar so much.
This song is essentially perfect. I need more choruses like this shit. Shit is absurd.
Definitely some of the best clean vocals I've ever heard. His voice is amazing. Great band.
Sounds like 'Hybrid Theory' of 2016.

Just fell in love with these crazy track and video!
One of my favorite songs of all the time.
This is different in a good way! I'm really digging the cleans. The beginning was a little off putting but I moved past that. Well done.
same!
Yes, wasn't sure what to expect after the first minute. Stuck with it and turned out to be really cool.
I think the beginning makes more sense after you listen to the song first, because it is pretty surprising
I'm def thinking the same way. It just grew on me after a few listens
_PyroD _ no just no .
This band is amazing, they should have more recognition.
So good, hopefully i can meet them again!
I love the scream when he says I don't care it gives me the chills.
#1 Band to watch blow up in 2016. No contest...
Tucker Pany Bad Omens came in
Love this.
TNF x SUPREME 3M jacket though, damnnn! Song is different but good too, Sylar bois killin it
I come back to this video about 10 times a day. Sylar I fucking love you. Aggression and groove is too perfect.
+Harry W. agreed.
You can only get it second hand which will cost you around $1000+
that jacket though...
jumping between the ultra boost and masters too. too nice
If you want the definition of catchy, this song is the right place for it.
FUCKING GROOVY
exactly
Can't stop listening to this. They need to drop another single.....real quick.
any body else got this shit on repeat?? It's amazing.
I saw these guys about a month ago. They opened up for Beartooth in NY. Instant eargasm. Now I'll be seeing them again this Friday!

sounds like Vic looks like Tony #lowkeyptv
I don't see any similarity to Vic, but alright. And Issues defintley didn't create this type of music or combination of genres...But I'm glad you like it.

This song got me reminiscing with a headbang and a smile🥲
What kind of hotline bling dance is this?
Jayden gave a very M. Shadows esc scream imo at 3:08 and A7X was with hopeless records I love it
Song is 10/10
Fiishbonez makes the video a solid 12/10 though
Everything about this song is next level. Sylar is going to blow up this year.
sylar on hopeless!???
1:31-1:38 lowkey gives me jonathan davis vibes, but honestly this video is so good.
Why is that creepy ghost-twin from The Matrix trying to break dance in this video?
Normie Peasant Lol'd
DUDES! I dunno how this video has only been viewed 4 thousand times... I'm probably 1000 of them haha killer track, can't wait to hear the album guys! Keep up the awesome work lads
Saw them in Norwich with Of Mice & Men and Wage War! They were fucking awesome!!!!
This song is actually my current favorite, it's been on replay since release... It's still not old to me and it's been replayed soooo many times, it's addicting.
The cleans remind me of Garrett's in The Color Morale for some reason.
Can't believe it's been 2 years already since this was released! Still come back to it, still an amazing song.
Great nu-metal sound
O som dos caras é mtu foda, quando o Miguel entra pra cantar então!!!!
Essa banda é foda demais
Finally starting to get the views they deserve.
I really hope their guitarist sings alot more like this on the new record. I was never a big fan of these guys but this has my attention. Preordered already.
Metal Limp Bizkit. I'm impressed Sylar.
I knew someone would say something about Limp Bizkit haha
+Danny norman nothing wrong with that. they went plat
Unorthodox style. This is the type of stuff that sticks...Good job guys. Keep it up. Congrats on getting signed to Hopeless!
Fuck. I love this. That chorus is huge.
Crazy how this band isn't huge yet. Underrated for sure, i bet this album blows them up though
Pause at 2:21 👹

Scott Jones yea bro it's like in between the 21 and 22 mark. Pretty sneaky
Ive seen them live before in NY and they always get people moving, happy to see this awesome band getting signed
fuuuuuuuck yea! Great song boys
It's really impressive how much they've mature music wise and performance wise since deadbeat. They really have the potential to be big.
I had never heard of Sylar till $wagCh0de mentioned them in Pubic Apology.
just heard this for the first time last night and absolutely love it already..
the chorus is especially beautiful.. though I will say it kinda reminds me of the dude from Pierce the Veil.. lol

Love and death is Brian's band that's why they sound like korn but a Christian version of them lol
I'd say From Ashes To New is the new Linkin Park.
+TheMilkMan (TheMilkMan) From Ashes to New is sick. I get Hollywood Undead vibes from them tho. I see the Linkin Park tho as well
I get more of a P.O.D vibe from Sylar and Limp Bizkit from Attila
Can someone give me a link for the band Former. I've looked everywhere and I can't find them.
been bumping this since it came out! so proud of the NYC scene rn!
I can almost feel the breeze from all the wiggerish arm movements in this video
Saw them live, they are nothing short of amazing
