This is the best live performance I have ever seen, I've been playing for 50 years, going to gigs for as long, and I've seen MOST of the greats in that time - this is just amazingly good, it brought tears to my eyes..

Beth is an incredible storyteller. Her version of this song is the best of the covers simply because you can feel her anguish and pain in her vocals and the choices she makes with her inflections.. She sang that from her soul. The other covers were just sang to sing them. You can have all the talent in the world vocally, but not every talented singer can make you feel the lyrics

Pure masterclass in bluesy soulful singing. Her voice is pure gold. She can bring emotion out of me that no one else can. Everyone should know about Beth Hart!
Many singers can do this tune, but Beth and Joe put all of the feels into it, and give it plenty room to let the song breathe!!

I never understood when people would say a performance dropped them to their knees but this song dropped me to my knees. The emotions it invokes is powerful. The whole performance between Beth and Joe gave me chills. They feed off each other. My only complaint is that it ended. Perfection.
You have to admit that this song will make the cold chills run up your back. Joe, is the most amazing guitar player I have ever seen. He can make it talk to you.

Joe's been playing with major legends since he was 12 years old. His story is amazing, there's a great documentary called (I think) The Man Who Beat the Music Industry, it tells you a lot about the guy and what a great person he is. Any interview with him will show you what a genuine man he is.

Joe, I knew he was coming at about age 10. He knew what he needed to do and he did it. Beth, never heard of her until Joe. Their entire time together has been a true listening pleasure.
