This segment made me cry. Cry for the humanity, hope, love, and resilience displayed. And you said it well in your last sentence; I was thinking that too, the Russians leaving the dead in the fields, denying their families a body to bury and compensation for their death. Ukraine is such a stunning place with such amazing people. Thanks for showing us this.

Thank you Jonathan, for inviting us to this facility, and bringing to light one of the often overlooked consequences of the war against Ukraine. I noticed she said _they must learn to love their new bodypart._ Yes indeed, that was important. The number of amputees is beyond our imagination, and we must help them all to get a normal life again. _"We",_ because we must all do more to help Ukraine more in so many ways. And if nothing else, then demand from our politicians to do more. I'm excited to see you in Ukraine, Jonathan. Bedtime now, I'll watch the rest tomorrow. You, and Ukraine, take care, stay safe! Cheers from Denmark Slava Ukraini!

@@SiliconCurtain That's super. And it's fine to upload it now. The project is an ongoing thing, not "daily news". It is the first time I've seen a deeper dive into what's done for the amputees, so it was very refreshing.
I know several who don't want to donate to any military equipment (lack of which means killing of more innocent people, but such is their choise). This project could be a fine thing for them to donate to. I will pass your video around. Thanks again.

I live in Ukraine. Seeing 4 men together with prosthetic legs walking in the major homemaker and hardware store, really brought the war home for me. They seemed to get around ok, it’s so difficult to see. The west was so slow and allowed Russia to mine. They should never had this time to prepare. A mess for years to come .

We in the west still aren't giving enough as is needed to finish this war quickly, and permanently. I keep hoping that will change, and I keep spending time calling and writing letters to the people who represent our district in the House and the Senate. I wish more people would do this and put more pressure on them to provide more to Ukraine. Since I am retired, and am myself disabled, there isn't a lot I can give myself (though I do give what little I have leftover at the end of the month), but I do have time. Lots of time, so I call, and I write, and I hope that somehow it will help, even if its just a little bit. If more people would give up some time to write to their MP's and their Congressmen and Senators, maybe our fingers could add up to some real help for the people of Ukraine.

What an uplifting place. Ukrainians are truly a lovely, brave and positive people. Its great to see humanity on this level in a war zone. Really cheered me up watching this especially when I see all the vile religious hatred around the world and in our cities. I think we in the UK could learn some humility and compassion from Ukrainians. Interesting there are not thousands of boat loads of Ukrainians "fleeing a war zone" to get into the UK. They stand and fight for freedom.

What an astoundingly moving display of forward thinking, commitment, love, skill and effort this shows. They call themselves super human and it is on display in every second of the video and it’s important to see this type of inspiration and know that these kinds of efforts are not singular but in fact exist in and outside of every human, community and effort which creates them. It’s rare to see something so impressive, but at the same time I am not surprised to be so moved and impressed by Ukrainian efforts. It is important to know that the future is bright and it involves change and healing and we are already working on that.

One of the current leading people (vanderKolk? Levine?Mate?-i dont remember where i read it) about trauma says that 'trauma is what happens to you in the absence of an empathetic witness"....this may account for what you observed @silicon curtain....if anything the worldwide advocacy by zelenskiy for his own people, and right after the pandemic, too, and efforts like your channel, help garner the empathy that the ukranians can feel and resolve their trauma more easily. At least that's my ever so faintly trauma-"informed" opinion. So interesting to see this video.
