Well that brought back some memories. Good fun exploring Inshriach trails. I can confirm that legendary status of the cakes at The Potting Shed was justified. And you could could look out of tea room windows and watch red squirrels on the feeders.
I noticed your ebike creeks slightly. My lapierre overvolt does too, can't quite pin point it. Even took it back to the shop and they greased everything! Great vid too
Nice video mate... last video i watched it was Sgor Gaoith and i commented on it that i was planning doing it.. Well i got up and was stunning the descent was amazing i done it with Paul u bumped into him a few videos back, got another few of your munro videos to copy...Cracking stuff mate.
Hey buddie, another great video, btw the creaking may be coming from the bolts on your bike needing a little greased up, we had the same issue on my girlfriends e-bike (cube), a few bolts loosened off re-lubed and tightened back up and it was gone, the saddle post was the culprit on that occasion. Maybe worth a wee try mate
Andrew ive been on a few ebikes and they still feel cumbersome.. can you suggest one that's a bit more nimble with good battery life ...after Covid my lungs are a bit fucked 🙃
GMBN did a review/ride on some super lightweight Orbea emtb's a few months ago. Might be worth you tracking down that video and taking a look. Will need deep pockets though, they are not cheap.
Hell of a single track my friend! That spot with the lake stunning. It looked pretty physically demanding even on ebike tho. Andrew I also wanted to ask about Skydio 2, cause I remember You had some issues with it in one of the previous videos. Figured out what it was? All good now? Cause I saw some video on another channel some, where Skydio was behaving similarly and the problem was poor GPS signal, cause operator was keeping beacon in the pocket. But I've seen that You have that mount for the beacon (which solved that other guy's problem) so I don't know. Please if You could let me know if you found the problem and solution, I would be grateful.
So I’m not sure what the problem was, but I put the new firmware on it a couple of days later and it was much improved. I generally just put the beacon in my pocket, which might not be the best idea TBH.
@@McTrailRider that's what was causing problems for that other guy I watched, cause he was also putting beacon in the pocket which weakened GPS signal. Drone was losing signal and fly away. He started to use mount and it solved His problem. I'll send You the link to video
@@raychan9449 I’m mainly using it to record the ride, but every now and then I will use it to follow a route. Distance, elevation, time elapsed and the time of day are probably my most used data fields though.
Not every video need to be gnarly mate! Class video. Love feshie.
True, glad you enjoyed it 👍

Stripping and re-greasing worked for me, but I have had one before that never really went away. It’s a nightmare.

Last singletrack back to bridge thats the way we headed upto Sgor Gaoith all along river bank..stunning
Good to hear you guys are getting out there and hitting the good stuff 👍
Moved up to Aviemore a few years ago now from lochgilphead.. your not lying about the house prices! 😅
So your saying your richer than me 🤔😜 You must be enjoying the drier weather up there too👍
Looks a good loop for us less competent riders👍
I’d highly recommend it for just that 👍
Never seen a round trig point before!
You have now 👍
Isn't the name 'Cake or Death' from an Eddy Izzard sketch?
th-cam.com/video/rZVjKlBCvhg/w-d-xo.html
Death Star Canteen is the best though.
I honestly had no idea about this before now. I’d definitely choose cake😜
@@McTrailRider Very well, give him cake!
Last time I rode there Cake or Death was under several inches of snow haha!
Slightly contrasting conditions then 😜
Cake or Death came from Eddie Izzard
Ah, ties in pretty well with this trail too 👍

I went a bit ott on the creek and stripped and rebuilt the whole bike. Seemed to sort it out😜
@@McTrailRider , glad you got it sorted. nothing worse that the creeks, it drove my girlfriend nuts, talk about Rage lol
Seems e bikes develop creaks non stop! My girlfriend's levo is constantly finding new ways to creak.
Nice area!
So pretty in the Caledonian pines😍

good steady ride, pal. did you find the cause of the creak?
A done o while host of things at once to sort it, but couldn’t say for sure what the actual cause was.

Some perfect singletrack there 👌 nothing worse than the Chinese water torture of a creaking bike though !
It’s just the worst isn’t it 😤
where did you mount your POV camera here? Can't see any mounts when you're facing the camera.
great vid!
It’s mounted to the chin bar of my helmet which is removable, hence why you couldn’t see it.
You using grip shift on your ebike? Looks interesting
Yep, have been for a while now. Nice to have something different.
Any tips on finding trails if you are a beginner?
The Trailforks app is my go-to.
XC day? Next thing you know, you'll be showing your new gravel bike.
Hope I don’t go that far 😜
🤙🏻🔋⚡️
🤘
could you show us whats on your garmin?
In what sense? I’ve got my Strava and Trailforks info in the description if that’s what your after.
Was wondering what data screens you used during a ride or are you just using it to collect data and don’t really touch it ?

Cool, I often wonder what people use garmin/wahoos for, except navigation… too much data sometimes….
