A slideshow showing how Grandad George made a wooden model of a 2½ Ton Miltary Truck based on the M35 6 x 6 cargo truck known as the "Deuce and a Half". Constructed in Beech using plans available from www.toysandjoys.com
GrandadGeorge, Your skills absolutely amaze me, your ability's too also lay it out in a video is also very neat. Your grand children are extremely lucky too have you as a grandad
Muito bacana ficou excelente seu projeto caminhão de transportar soldados em guerra foi uma ótima apresentação e muito boa à demonstração valeu obrigadao 🎉🎉🎉🎉
George, awesome build and very clear almost tutorial-like quality video. Only catch is; the Deuce-an-a-half belongs to the Vietnam era, so the music did not match... A Jimmi Hendrix or Janis Joplin tune would have been better. :))
Hey Steelwolf, yes indeed the duece and a half was from the Vietnam era, and I rode many miles on the back of one of those beasts, in Vietnam. But at my age the music is fine for me. I am 80 and I love those old songs. The Boogie Woogie Boys from Company B. is one of my favorites. I did however love Janis Joplin, sadly she died. I served in Germany 1955 thru 1958 and retired in 1975. I remember calling those trucks duece and a half back in 1955, but the Vietnam era trucks were much better.
Fantastic job .very good
