I used them on my past 2 cats and had no problems. Mine were inside cats, and they did not seemed bothered by them, and scratched everything in spite of them, they just did less damage. They would use their scratching pads, chase toys, and even caught the few mice that would come into our country home. I applied them myself, after being shown how to by our Vet. I also found they would come off on there own, but never all of them at the same time, so I would replace them when they fell off. I did stop using them as my cats got over 15 years of age (they lived to be 20), as they were less active and did not shed them as quickly as when they were younger. They slowed down with all of the stuff they did when young, so the covers were not needed. Just my opinion based on my experience with my 2 indoor cats, who have now passed.
I don't want to use them BUT now that we visit families for 2 months using air mattress and two were popped so today had to order, when we go back home it will be removed.
This was so helpful. Thanks for giving a full perspective instead of just selling them or assuming nail caps are a solution for all cats.
Thank you! We're glad you enjoyed the video. 😺

As long as your cats are kept indoors only while having the nail caps on, everything should be fine. 😺
