Also , their original uniform was white pants , white shirt white "servicemans style hat , red apron , like In and Out is . Also had my first In and Out , in 1971 . Thanks , Cheers👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

This is actually the 3rd original location ever built, but the site of the very first original Mc Donald's is at 1398 North E Street in San Bernardino, CA. The original sign still remains from the very first McDonald's and it's also a museum now. It also used to be McDonald's original headquarters until McDonald's was purchased and the headquarters were relocated to Illinois.
Used to eat there..it's a really small place..menu is the same as the new mcdos..you can't eat inside, there's an additional eating place beside it..downey us not really a crowded city & that location is so comfy..
The MultiMixer is not as implied a product of Ray Kroc’s. It was created by Earl S. Prince for he and his friend Walter Fredenhagen’s ice cream/fast food store chain based out of Napanee, Illinois known as Prince Castle. The MultiMixer Model 9B is still in production unchanged to this day as the Sterling MultiMixer. Ray Kroc lied years ago and had his top people at the McDonalds Corporation further the lie asserting that he created McDonalds and dreamed up that name for the concept. He is the one who expanded the franchise. The real founders were the McDonald Brothers. They created the entire original concept, and furthered it in the form of a number of franchises which this Downey store was the second one created under their direct auspices. Kroc was no where on the scene back then and had nothing whatsoever to do with any aspect.

My mom and I sat on those little outdoor tables back in the late 60’s. I would get a cheese burger and an orange coke

On the corner of Lakewood and Florence. I remember this as a small child in the Early 70's, I'm glad it's still standing today(In 2024).
You sound like badger from breaking bad haha, love the video btw! I just watched the founder so i had to look this up
Oh wow, now I have to look up Badger in Breaking Bad to see how I sound to others! I do know that I don't have an announcer's voice, though.
@@WheresMyMap hes one of my favs from the show haha and no i think you have a good narrative voice! I was certainly interested the whole time
