    Weirdly, I'm enjoying your weirdness in your modelling gymnastics... Terrific Build!

    • @frontlinemodelhobbies653
      @frontlinemodelhobbies653  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah modelling gymnastics is my forte, I especially love the challenge as I build like armour modellers, glue it all together and paint, then I get less glue marks.
      Anyway thank you for the very kind comments👍👍👍

    Very detailed pro job. A delight watching your technique. Looking forward to more WWII fighters in the 1/24th scale from you. A6M2, BF109, Hurricane, Spitfire Mk1a and MkIX, P51D, FW190, and more, also from Trumpeteers, Bonzai. You could sell or auction off your beautiful work, you know. Circulate photos. Make yourself known as widely as you wish. You are worth it. Cheers!

    Your work is brilliant Rob! I love it man. You are a true inspiration for this wonderful hobby. Some of your tricks such as the wire to thread the wire and the pencil with the toothpicks is ingenious. Not only that, but you also just crack me up mate! Love it. Subbed. Thanks!

    I hesitate to venture a suggestion, but as for the rack of parallel wiring: I think I might have got a soft board of some sort, stuck some pins in it, and put a piece of soft metal as a former around the pins; the wires can then be laid onto board one after the other to follow the left-hand 90º turn. Maybe use a tacky glue. The glue the cross-parts to the wires.
    I probably couldn't even do this myself but I think it's how I would try to do it.

    Hey Rob, just subscribed after my dad recommended this channel to me. Loving your work and the mosquito is my absolute favourite aircraft the UK produced. The cockpit is looking amazing and looking forward to seeing the next video and progression.

      Yeah the mossie is one of my favourite british aircraft as well and very underrated and altogether not very know, everyone knows the spitfire. I am working on subsequent videos and the saga continues.
      All the best

    Dear Rob, ( you knob) I have liked and subscribed to many fellow modellers over the years, and I was looking for something to get me into aircraft again.
    Guess what the mossie video popped up and I'm smitten chap. Funny, incredibly detailed, and above all immersive.
    I would love to build this kit and don't want to know how you got it for £50 quid.
    Your editing is bang on mate, and the Bottom additions... well you should do stand up when you're not building 😅 ! You have a life long sub chap, and from the south of England too😂
    Now stop messing around and get on with( Yes.. Get on with it!) I'm going on holiday in 10 days and need something to watch if my wife becomes too tired 😢
    With best wishes from a fellow modeller who has admiration for your stunning work.

    • @frontlinemodelhobbies653
      @frontlinemodelhobbies653  ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow, wow wow wow. Where to start, I got the kit for £50 off someone who I will not mention as it was in a garden hose box (yes honestly) and he cane in and said anyone wants this for 50 notes, well I nearly floored him trying to get my wallet out while running over🤣🤣
      Thanks for the very, extremely and wonderfully kind comments for literally everything👍👍👍
      I have had a couple of people not liking the editing, but hey if they do not like it I’ve said simple, do not recommend channel.
      I really love doing modelling and I try to bring my inspiration of the hobby into the vids while trying to get some comedy in there to break it up.
      Im working on vids now and will have them up soon.
      Its alright I have Southern friends, so your not the only one🤣
      Keep up the modelling your end and have a great holiday and stay safe.
      Happy modelling mate
      Rob

    I could never have built mine to this standard, but I got it to compliment my collection of original 1/1 scale Mosquito parts 😊

    • @frontlinemodelhobbies653
      @frontlinemodelhobbies653  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah you could do the model to this or even higher standard, it just takes time and planning. Must admit the kit would look amazing next to a 1/1 mossie part, that would be awesome👍👍👍

    Never used such a long bristled brush myself,but after watching this video I think I might get some.

    • @frontlinemodelhobbies653
      @frontlinemodelhobbies653  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah they come in use for most situations and you can soak up a lot of paint into the brush, meaning you paint takes longer to dry leaving a better paint finish👍👍👍

  • @antonrudenham3259

      To be fair with a lot of planning and drawing everything out, then its not bad, but still takes a long time to do.

    You do make it look so effortless! Brilliant detail. In part 1 you mention 3 reference books - what are they? I’m going to do a 1:24 Airfix mozzi conversion to a mk 30 nf and finding resource material surprisingly difficult to get hold of.
