I agree that this game has very satisfying car physics! Definitely up there in my favourites too. My personal favourite racing game is TrackMania². If you like drifting, TrackMania² Canyon. They are often on sell, give it a look it feel like it, runs great with proton! (sadly, closed-source & windows only)
