Hello ma concerning the pleats I didn’t hear you say you added extra inches to the fabric because when you pleat it will definitely reduce. Please how many inches did you add to the strips of fabric for the pleats to go round
First measure all around the area where you'll be adding the pleats. You can double the entire length, or make 3 times, or 4 times your measurement. It's entirely up to you, how much fabric you have, and how full you want the pleats to be.
Thank you for this tutorial but my question is: what you do on the right side of the fabric, can you not do it on the wrong side of the fabric? Esp if you want to use markings for the arm hole and bust
if we want the kaftan to be circle without those pleats, please how do we curt the peplum that will go round the kaftan,is it to calculate the circumfrence of the dress and cut as we do withpeplum. thanks very much. Greetings.
