I discovered this band a few months ago and they've quickly become one of my favourites. The orchestrations are extremely well-composed and I have never heard a band within the black metal genere so unique that still stays true and musically passionate. Truly amazing composers. Mozart would appreciate this.
These Guys are creating intense atmosphere in every single song they wrote. Maybe they´re fitting the same genre with Dimmu but they have a totally different way of putting the sounds together, and for me they´re the best Band this genre has to offer.

On my first day of my freshmen year, i came in dressed like Seregor, no one got it. They were just terrified, and it was epic. Let's just say my honors classes weren't expecting me.
Some parts of the video where funny(the drummer with the wide open eyes), but I liked the concept, feels like an horror movie. I was afraid about some kind of screamer or shocking scene would appeard at the end, like in the movie Sinister lol.

Can anyone help? I'm new to Carach Angren and I really wanted to like them. I do love this song, but i was just listening to the Death Came Through a Phantom Ship album and some of their stuff doesn't appeal to me as much. I get their whole storytelling idea, but sometimes it doesn't seem to rhythmically agree with the music, if you know what I mean. Any one know any more songs by them that are like this one in that it sounds more poetically metered? Like: There's a strange object on the radars in front of me / Still nothing I can see. / Just an open dreary sea. Should I feel fear? / Was I even here?
uhm... In my opinion listen their latest album, This is no Fairytale. I felt it to be much better than the previous. Maybe that will get you more into their music.

CRIMINALLY underrated band. I remember talking to them on Myspace when they uploaded the demo version of Haunting Echoes.
They were! their first 3 albums are so good but then they became a Disney horror band.
After immersing oneself in this band's discography you'll find it's almost flawless..
