I am trying a pure DoT Essence Drain/Contagion/Decompose build, but it seems there is not a lot of option for improving my damage. Maybe going Blood Mage was a mistake ?
Chaos DoT doesn't have much to scale without scaling the initial hit. Poison DoT has more capability to scale, you can scale the initial hit (Hexblast) and scale the ailment and poison through jewels
I feel you. Blood mage certainly feels like a mistake at times. I didn't even think to not put my first 2 ascendency points right away and was in boss limbo for a while.
@ As Tony said if you get your hexblast damage high and get jewels that increase magnitude by crits you can get your dot damage to huge numbers that way. also withered debuff increases the dot damage

How do you get a Breach like that? Mine are just few Mobs and then done. >_>
maxxed my atlas tree for breaches and have 40% density then get density of breaches on tablets for towers
what item filter is that? Would like to have it as well ^^
