What is Roblox? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. The main thing to focus on is that the characters in early access go free right after, so really . Its a PAY TO LOSE

Less moves doesn’t make it trash, it gives you a move set for something to fight. If you can’t win with 1 move then you just suck dog and if you can’t win against it then you suck dog too 💀

The only reason why metal bats 1st move did half damage is because it was the ONLY move at the time.
It all depends on what the developers do at the time. Since it was the only move set in metal bat, its damage increases, but over time we find move set damage to decrease as more move sets are given. Ninja is an example, as before its first move set was very powerful, but as time went on, the damage from that oldest (or first move set) decreased by damage. So it’s somewhat pay to win when you think about it, at least it’s only pay to win for that time. It will never be pay to win for an extended amount of time, it’s simply giving those early access players a bit of a boost with that move set till others are released.
Then it’s balanced… if the character only has one move it makes sense that it would do more damage and have a faster cooldown

it kinda is when the moveset releases cuz there not any ways found to counter it so you have a advantage until people find a way to counter your moves

Yea i guess it really does depend on the character. Sometimes important stuff like a move having the ability to trigger death counter or actually be blocked just gets forgoten and then its P2W until those oversights are corrected. The Devs leave characters in early access after their moveset is finished so that they can balance them correctly before making them free because of the moves needing more testing to be made fair.
they just make it a powerful and spammy as possible for the people that pay robux, and right as it comes public, they nerf it tonnes, just like blade master and physic now
The other thing is that people will say it’s pay to win then when it’s free they use the character every day until a new character comes out
Nah cause the devs buff the character right until release like sonics op scatter wasn't nerfed until 2 weeks before its release
very true but a lot of youtubers wouldn't make a video about how to counter it until it's free and people who bought it won't reveal counters so it makes it harder for people without it. plus metal bat has a slam for his M1 so it's probably gonna be op when all the moves are out.
The only time I would have considered it "pay to win" is during when Genos and then Sonic were being added. But even then, it was just more annoying rather than unfair, since they were new characters that you had to get used to. And they became free not too long later, so it doesn't really matter

You do have a point about the movesets though but even once the characters 100% finished there is a little time where only early access can have it and also before an early access character is released it usually gets a debuff

A funny thing happened to me in 2v2 A ninja was somehow able to use his ult three times in one round
It kind of is because if you've not noticed yet, the developers dont nerf these early access movesetes until they're almost done, that leaves them usually with big damage, and moves that are incredibly easy to land and use
true especially considering the fact that how many people don't know how these new moves work and how to counter against them. Kinda like how people never knew that most of sonics move's are blockable

-in some cases an unfinished ultimate, meaning at least your opponent can at least use ultimate for health regen, while you just have to run away cuz u don’t have ultimate

I have found several users who have the new character and the truth is not pay to win, it is easy to avoid those combos, you just have to see the rival and their combos to avoid one shot combos

The character its not nerfed bacause its not completed
The moves have great demage
Bad things
It doesnt have all moves so if you dont hit the 2 moves that metal bat have you will have to wait too long
I want to share a combo with yall for beginners this is hero hunter the combo is 3m1s then a downslam to an another 3m1s but this time hold it and jump at the same time for an upper cut dash forward into hunters graphs side sah into lethal whirled steram then jump into s folwing water hope this helps!
The only thing that is in the pay to win category of the early acces gamepass is the buffs since sonic back then even if you block you still get damage take scatter for example but after some time the buff gets nerfed making it more even
People always say it’s p2w cause they don’t know have to deal with them then there’s sonic who kind of is but you can block all base kit moves
The early access gamepass is for people who don't like waiting. It's sometimes seems pay to win cauz the charater may have an OP move that the devs didn't noticed yet.
It's just cool to play a new charater.

When i battle people who use that early access gamepass, idk if its just me but it feels like they get a small damage buff til final release so they can have a chance

early access characters are intentionally made broken to make up for their missing moves, mechanicd and passives. they repeated this mistake with genos, sonic and now metal bat
They only do 30 damage with one move because they are missing ultimates, passive, and moves. After Metal Bat second move came out, he did less damage with his one.

Early access is more p2w depending on how far the character is in development for example when metal bat first got released he did 30 DAMAGE for one move because cause it is it’s only move but since it was it’s only move you could take advantage of the king cooldown to attack but if he as 3 moves that are really good it could be p2w it just depends on how far the character is developed for it to count as p2w

I honestly agree, Appenratly this game require skills so people who call P2W are just crying about how there skills suck, and it backs me up because the powers on Adrenaline demon only is 2 (as of 7/28/23) so you need a lot of skills, to beat an opponent with e.g genos
The only thing slightly p2w about metal bat rn is his m1s being the best in the game but even then its just a slightly quickler downslam as his normal m1s and him having only 2 moves definitley still makes him the worst character in base

Once the characters reach the level of free characters, abt a week later they are free, not to mention that little kids will call it pay to win because you know how to use it and we're able to kill then with it, but they couldn't bare the embarrassment of losing to a p2l character.

Early acess is like beta test not pay2win, people whit early acess is needed for the devs know if the moveset is going good or gliched, thats why exist
Technically it can be p2w because if an early access character is unbalanced in a strong way, the people who purchased the gamepass get an unfair advantage. But they probably won’t make the early access character actually good until it’s released.

I wouldn't say it's pay to win. As someone who doesn't own the gamepass, I ought to say that I have never had trouble with any early access character so far other than Sonic. I mean, they're early characters, they take a month or two to get done. Means they don't even got their full movesets until their very release. We aren't going to talk about Sonic and his pre-nerf scatter.
