What would be the novelty of making a parallel band to play cover of the main band? It just shows that Corey is an egoist who would love for all Slipknot's money to be his alone, and the others to work for him for free.
It's Corey Taylor's solo CMFT project. The two guitarists and drummer are who he's had in that band with him. That bassist though I don't think is Jason Christopher so possibly somebody filling in. On his CMFT tours Corey tosses in 2 or 3 songs each from Slipknot and Stone Sour. It's a fun show! Caught it last year in Myrtyle Beach, SC including meet-n-greet.
