For people that don’t know, Roblox isn’t like TH-cam or social media, there is no algorithm and your game won’t just blow up unless you make, get TH-camrs to make videos on your game, or gets ads.
so for some reason everytime i make a new roblox game, i play it in the real roblox not studio when it is finished and then the next day it has 4 visits. no one played it, its not in my profile, a random person wouldnt search it up (i tried to search my game but couldnt find it)
Roblox's algorithm works kinda like TH-cam's algorithm. The longer people play your game, the more impressions roblox gives it - on the home page, in search results, and even on the discover page.! And if players keep coming back and you're making Robux from gamepasses and developer products, roblox would give it more impressions.

Bruh to get visits you need to make a game unique, big and hard, not something like a game in 20 hours. A good game takes at least 100 hours. Also you gotta hire test team before releasing your game, then you should ask people to play your game in some dc servers, then spend like 20k robux to advertise it😊

Tips on how to get your game out there:
1. Create images/ thumbnail for your games.
2. Ask your friends to try it out
3. Advertise it on discord servers that allow you to do free advertising.
my first game is called "the simple obby" which is just the roblox studio obby template with free models (I also made "the simple obby 2" which is the sequel no one asked and needed)
It’s prolly the pictures and the name to be more complicated
What roblox needs to do is make a tab area that shows the new games like rec room does
To be honest, you could just get some of your friends onto the game and then they will spread it out with their friends and then people will join friends and then friends will join friends and then it will just work on more popular

I'm making a game called Xenophobia, storyline is You (The player) are a Navy soldier and was tasked with getting back information inside of an underwater military base that was attacked by the enemy. the place has long been abandoned and hopefully no one or nothing is there, until you begin hearing noises, and getting paranoid. finding a classified document that you open only to find out something else is there with you, and that's where things go downhill for you.

Tutorial on how to get your game into the algorithm: create a good and fun content loop so players keep playing, then once you have that you want to advertise with at least 3000 robux. Keep in mind Roblox games are the same for every other game or business, you aren’t going to make your money back for a long while.

as a very new roblox developer i am really having trouble with the scripting and now its getting boring because it is getting really hard and idk if it's my adhd or it's because i don't know how it works yet and i am a kind of good builder tho
try learning the basics instead of following tutorials on how to make specific things in Roblox Studio, that way you'll start to understand what each thing means and you'll be able to write your own scripts. I also recommend reading the Roblox Documentation and Roblox DevForum!
