For the buy-nothing thing, I'm going to try for all of 2022, for the categories of clothing, shoes and hobby items. I'm going to use up all the yarn that I have to make gifts for others, and use the supplies that I have accumulated for other hobbies that are being neglected.

Maybe you can get an intentional cockatoo print for your wall something that conserve as a happy little reminder of your father and maybe curb any kind of impulsion because it would be a deliberate thing to have in your life. Also ... You could possibly find an animal sanctuary that has them and you could hold them or take pictures of them or make a new memory with your family there. I am a big fan of nostalgia too. I'm a highly sentimental person for Christmas this year I gifted my family's print copy of the exact cookbook my mother always cooked with when we were growing up. It was practical and nostalgic and well received.

Can I just say, don’t give up on plants just yet, I just got a very lovely plant that I’ve heard is absolutely hardy and doesn’t take much upkeep at all and the benefit of clean air they give your home is such a bonus! Try the snake plant, Latin name ‘Sansevieria’ - ours is a beautiful tall deep green variety and looks so gorgeous! I am going focus on "Wabi Sabi" the art of imperfection. I have not done a vision board in a long time and goals were out the window when i retired 2 years ago. I felt depressed and paralyzed in my decluttering journey, then found channels on Minimalism this is changing my life " hee hee" my word of the year is CHANGE. I want to change and stop being afraid of change. I think setting some goals and creating a vision board will help me to achive my first goal is to embrace change and decluttering is all about change. Thanks So Much!!!!!

I’ve been anticipating this video since your last one!! I love how intentional you are and incorporate the whole picture of your past as part of your future. I love the quotes on comparison and rest. Do you do vision boards with your kids and husband? I have 5 kids and I showed them your video-but I’m not sure if they understand the concept-my youngest ones are 9,7, 4, & 2- (some of their goals included potty training and no pull-ups at night-but hey-maybe it will work for them too!)
We do talk about goals, but haven’t made a vision board but that is a cute idea. Gege has goals like “inventing real Pokémon” so…let’s see. 😆 I love your family goals!

I love the look of the ruggables especially the one you picked, but I feel obligated to say that I have no been thrilled with mine. I bought one, it won't stay flat the edges always curl up,(no matter what tapes I try to stick it down) and they are very thin. They don't feel comfy and cushy. I ended up getting FLOR rug tiles and have been thrilled. I now have one in our hallway and one in our office , and our front door mats) Just my two cents, but as I don't like throwing things out or wasting them. It was very important to me to share this. I love your video, and can't wait to try my own vision board for this year.

It was a kids calendar of animals, but they probably chose the goat because of the Capricorn factor! I also happen to be a Capricorn ♑️😂 so maybe that’s why I liked him!

Actually, I live in Germany, too, not so far away from Berlin.
Many many greetings, I'll follow your youtube canal.
Our neighbours used to have the echos in their home, too. They are allergic to dust and cannot have carpets. So they decided to put some hole panels to the walls and they covered them with decorative fabric. It looks like two big pictures and the echos are gone.
And.... since I was sick, I started to juice, exactly as your husband does. Our juicer though looks very similar to yours. :-) I juice vegetables, most of the time... I love carrots, beets, celery, spinach and fennel...
I bought "How not to die" from Michael Greger and find it very helpful.
Your soul knows the way... this is how I feel... but I find it hard to bring it into my life. Did you ever try Yoga? You will love it. Especially as a minimalist. You don't need a whole fitness studio. You only need your mat and you can practice any time, anywhere. You are not only challenging your body with it but also stabilize your mind. My yogapractice brought me through the last year.

I love your vision board. I've known about them for years but never really put one together with intention. This year it makes a lot of sense because I have a lot of goals and keep getting mixed up about what's the most important thing to tackle. This will help with clarity and focus. I totally was waiting to see this video. I loved it last year and want to do one this week since now I am inspired to complete my goal. I really wanted to make some goals and stick to them for the new year, but since I went back to work a few months ago I really don't have the energy ☹️ I can't even eat the way I like. It's almost as stressful, as sitting at home and wandering what to do with my time, while my son is at the kindy 😒 why it's allways so hard

I found you last year and I’m so glad I did. You’ve done so much to help me want to keep going even when dark moments happen (like when my emotions overwhelm me when I’m trying to focus on what is most important to me). I’m so glad so many things happened for you last year that you had set out for yourself. I normally write mine as a list in a notebook, but I’m going to get the items to do a vision board this year. I think having a constant vision on my wall to look at will help keep me motivated.

As far as the podcast, I am wanting to guest star on some podcasts that I know…do you like podcasts? I’m always self-conscious of my voice, I actually have people in the comment section on my videos that tell me I have a horrible squeaky voice, and as a speech language pathologist I was always aware my voice wasn’t amazing. I could change it of course, but then I would be afraid of coming off like that girl from Theranos. 😂 What podcasts do you enjoy?

It was a cool thrift store find - I got it in a package with tons of brushes for $4.99 and that brush alone is worth $200. To me, it symbolizes both money luck and reminded me of the calligraphy brushes my FIL uses. :) I've never explained it in this much detail before, but I know you are my Chinese study buddy, so I know you get me. ;)

I love goods I totally feel like I would love a goat on a vision board!!!! We actually stayed at an Airbnb last year that had goats and it was wonderful. Twice a week and yes, when the kids are in school. When I had one I did 30 minutes videos during naps. After two it was harder for me to get a workout in. ☺️
Cinque Terre - phonetically cheen-kway ter-ray. Means Five Lands. It's a collection of five beautiful villages along the Ligurian Sea in northwestern Italy. You can hike between the villages and the views are spectacular. Well worth a visit!
