- Michigan State plays their pregame show at the Ohio State Skull Session. The Ohio State University Marching Band, TBDBITL, The Best Damn Band In The Land at the OSU vs. Michigan State football game played in Ohio Stadium on November 21, 2015. The halftime show was "The Sound Of Music". Music included "Do-Re-Me", "The Lonely Goatherd", "My Favorite Things", "Climb Every Mountain", and "So Long, Farewell". Game-day video includes the entire Skull Session, entire pregame show with Script Ohio, and the Halftime Show. Also includes Band practice - Pregame and halftime show.

I don't think I've seen that much respect between two schools and their respective bands, especially one in which one band doesn't give a damn for the whole state of the other school's location.
We always had a tremendous amount of respect for the MSU Marching Band and the feeling was mutual on the other side I believe. Definitely was always my favorite visiting band to see in person.
Oh lordie when OSU's band takes the field here at MSU I get excited. One of the best marching bands in the world if you ask me. Last weeks 16-17 game was an awesome experience.

I have to admit, it was a long time ago but going to Ohio State was one of the greatest road trips our band (IU Marching Hundred) ever took. The respect by the OSUMB was incredible. It was really great to be in a Big 10 Marching Band. The experience of a lifetime.
Respect is earned and not given. Both of these schools gave and received this day. This was incredible to watch. Thank you for sharing.
OSU's band and fans were the most welcoming and respectful of all big ten locations, especially compared to Ann Arbor.

My favorite genre of music is marching band performance. It's because I experienced it when I was young, and because it gives me energy. I heard a really wonderful performance. Thank you very much.

I'm impressed at the respect given from OSU. I wish UM wasn't so arrogant because they have a good band as well but it gets smothered by their disrespectful nature.
Just stumbled onto this and it is certainly impressive. TBDBITL was so impressive in their decorum and respectful attitude. Not like what I have seen between MSUMB and MMB. I was taken aback though at the MSUMB drum majors. The MSUMB twirlers were out there performing their hearts out and the drum majors just kind of sauntered out there and clapped to the music. Really, is that what the drum major(s) of a major college marching are supposed to do - just do a walk-on and stand there?
In this case, it was more of a concert setting - besides, if the drum majors were doing anything all they'd be doing is wasting energy marking time and marching in place. So that's why they stand and cheer for their university. They don't do backbends every five minutes either - that's not the easiest thing in the world to do!

This is a hottest of takes but I absolutely adore the Stanford bands more comedic style.
What makes Stanford "better" is also related to, if not the same reason for why they aren't by another school to visit as you see in this video.
That's implying Stanford's band can actually play coherently. Also 24-21
