    • @yensteel
      @yensteel 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Using the C34 here! It's basically a Cerberus with 7 slots only. Really compact for the size yet it can fit a large CPU cooler. Be careful with the ATX PSU compatibility though. There's two numbers, one for ATX-micro (160) and ATX (170) where the second slot is used instead.

      @shinseitaizen 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @yensteel
      @yensteel 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@shinseitaizen Depends on whether the motherboard is using the first or second slot for the GPU, and whether the card is long enough to interfere (240mm due to motherboard width). Usually, the ATX motherboard uses the 2nd slot (170mm support). A lot of M-ATX boards use the first slot, which reduces the support down to 160mm. An example would be the B550m Mortar.

      @@master__frog5429 Give him mininmal 1month for deliveries atleast and a day to build homie lmao. Building a x99tf q build for a friend/boss and throwing in a 2060 oc gigabyte inside of a DLM21-Mesh white. Could post photos when I build it early feb. he mainly wants to do office work on it and play city skylines. Gonna have a E5-1650v2 in it and will be overclocking it to 4.1-4.2ghz.
      Will give a quick breakdown of the specs and their prices. Some stuff is what I already got at home so its cheaper!
      E5-1650v2 (bought 4 years ago ($100AUD) Secondhand)
      Gigabyte 2060 OC ($300AUD Seccondhand)
      32gb ecc ram (forgot the speed) ($140AUD worth Secondhand)
      Darkflash case DLM21-Mesh ($75AUD New)
      850w gold full modular (to buy yet) ($100AUD)
      2x1tb m.2/nvme storage ($240AUD Secondhand)
      6tb HDD NAS ($100AUD Secondhand)
      wifi modual ($2AUD Secondhand)
      m.2/nvme heatsinks (fanned/rgb) ($38)
      240 AIO (to buy) ($100AUD)
      Total: $1,195AUD/$815USD.
      Could of cheaped out on the psu/ram/CPU is worth half as much now/gpu but he is happy with the rig. commision is about 15% so about $180AUD for my back pocket. All and all its cheaper than building a 10th gen + rig due to cpu prices and at any time he did wanna upgrade, there is the z590 steel (white mobo is what he wants in a white case and black everything else) that I could pair my i7 10700f for when I upgrade in the future to i9 11900k in my z590 taichi.
      I can assemble 80% of this in mid feb but still need to hunt for a quality psu/240 rad/nvme storage. Will look nice regardless....

  • @plav032
    @plav032 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Not including shipping in the price is pretty dishonest tbh. Alot of items listed on AliExpress are clearly under priced to make up the difference in horrendous shipping costs. I was looking at gas tanks for my cafe racer build, and sure you can "buy" a gas tank for $55 dollars, but the shipping is three times that and makes no sense why a PC case for $100 ships for $20 and probably is heavier, and larger, doubtful that the distance is much larger either.

    pretty sure you missed the point with all the other builds, they're not looking for "pretty" parts or good parts they look for parts that are interesting and you'd be intrigued to see. They go for something unique to not have to stick to building "the best" or "good" pc's. It's called making content.
