Thanks a lot. Im using a recording interface unit that I connect to Garage Band on my Mac, then it's a matter of mixing the audio file uploaded to Garage Band (which is the original song) and my recorded bass line (uploaded through the recording interface) on top of it. I usually boost the volume of my playing compared to the volume of the song. I always try my best to capture a bass sound that is as close as possible to the original bass sound in the song. I don't use any external pedals, I only use the tools available in Garage Band (Amps and pedals). Most of the time I only choose an amp and the dry bass signal with no sound modification. im pleasantly people cover this song but it does have good bass lines. just wish people added some slaps because this song has plenty of opportune places to slap
