As someone who is in to computers when I first saw Roblox y2k stuff I was super confused because I thought they were talking about the computer bug. I have no idea what they thought actually meant.
It's obvious how this operates. A Public Relations Manager contacts potential "influencers" and if they accept the campaign offer they are are then sent default templates for things to say and images to create, that's why both the text and images of the posts look very similar. The submissions are then reviewed and edited, with more PR shit tacked on to promote the current business goals that higher level executives have outlined for the company. It's all finalized weeks before hand and scheduled for automatic posting for the promotion period. They would never actually give a random "influencer" access to official company accounts, that would be ridiculous lmao.
Roblox simulates a real world dictatorship. They give the illusion of a powerful independant country with citizens being able to do what they want, but it's all a lie. All just one big FUCKING lie.
They probably selected the most out-of-touch Roblox employee or one that watches TONS of Nickelodeon "Kids'/Teens' Choice" Awards and thinks Gen Z genuinely loves or even cares the slightest bit about Jojo Siwa.
This feels like a bunch of out of touch adults are trying their hardest to be "Hip with the Kiddies " and convince us that the Metaverse is good, I also feel bad for the Influencers in the tweets, they dont even win, they just get harassed.
