I am playing the newest update of Magggas's OpenBoR game Double Dragon Reloaded. The name of this update is "Double Dragon Reloaded Alternate".
It contains many new features:
you can choose a character, which basicly is based on the palettes, that appear in both Double Dragon games, including a palette of Sonny from Double Dragon 3
there are more moves such as the ones from Double Dragon Advance or the NES Double Dragon 2. There is a running possibility now.
there are two versions of a route: the one with the normal soundtrack and the one with the arranged ones.

In purpose to be able to do the 2-button combinations I was supposed to purchase a gaming keyboard with the anti-ghosting feature, which was supposed to be a self-reward for completing the final year in a college.
By far ! the BEST version period of DOUBLE DRAGON, or if you prefer, the best of all remakes of any of the double dragon remakes. This one will be hard to beat (yeah ! double meanings) . Many Thumbs up to the maker of this build. I JUST PLAYED THROUGH THE ENTIRE GAME, the game is recreated perfectly not mentionning that it removes all the flaws from the orignal arcade version, especially theres no more lags, more moves with correct directionnal movement this time, while adding some new scenes from various DD games. DEFINITLY WORTH DOWNLOADING and PLAYING and keeping of course, not mentionning that its free.
If the enemies had such new moves, that Would some freaking hard game
This game is fucking amazing. I use to play original back in 1986. Still love this game. Its a timeless masterpiece that paved the way for alot of game.

Normally I hate OpenBOR games, and 99% of the Double Dragon OpenBOR games are terrible cut and paste template jobs of each other, but this game is an exception. It's using the engine for something worthwhile rather than just stealing graphics from other games and throwing in whatever shitty mp3 they like with no context. An excellent game!
Guys definitely get tougher as the game goes on. This was really well thought out.

This is awesome. Would like to see if a possible update that allows thrown enemies to hit other enemies. Also when doing wrestling slams all near by enemies take a hit. Lastly if possible that spike sound from when enemies fall into pits.
Amazing game.. my only complaint is using the arcade version of the music when there are so many awesome mixes of the music including arranged versions .
This DD looks more detailed and has more moves and combos. It would be more interestin' if the bad guys has more moves as well. Imagine this game have more levels of dificulty and add more opponents ta fight. As for the stages, I think it would be more interestin' if they were extended for more explorin'. Still, ya guys did a wonderful job here. Keep the good work.
I was just playing Pablo vera's make of Double Dragon plus which is good,however I really like this version.Where can I download this?I've been a Double Dragon fan for many years.

You know, this game kind of feels like an arcade version take on Double Dragon Advance, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. However, I would have liked to have seen the DDA exclusive thugs in this game as well as all of the DDII thugs in this game. Aside from that, this is how the ORIGINAL Double Dragon SHOULD have been in the first place.

I like what they have done here, but they have made it too easy. Double Dragon is supposed to be a challenge. What they have done here is make 'Billy & Jimmy Lee' invincible. They should have programmed it so the opposition could run around too. At least then the game would provide some kind of challenge for the player!! They clearly took the 'running' concept from 'Renegade'. But in Renegade, the opposition were able to run. So, in a nutshell, they fucked up....... :(
Does anyone know if this works on Wii? I tried getting it to run on different OPENBOR versions and it crashed on every one. Looks like a lot of fun!
