You could also use a thich wire and wrap them around that, and then bend the end to make the hook. Could use a glue gun or another good glue to secure it to the wire.
Well, I do find cotton absorbs more liquid than acrylic. With that in mind, I made mine in cotton solely to be able to absorb as much glue mixture as possible. I have done other items successfully with acrylic and the water glue mixture, you just need to use more glue and try not to wring out too much water.
@@naztazia Oh, okay. Thank you SO MUCH, for the response!! So many offer us to response, but a lot don't reply.😉👍 I ♥️ your work & your videos!!❤❤ Thank you!!
Yes, absolutely. The tails are just so you can twist it without getting glue on your hands, plus, allows that little bit of extra twist right at the end.
Great tutorial on a wonderful Christmas ornaments/gift wrap idea!! we're going to have very humid quiet I wonder if the glue would hold up or if there's something a little more permanent and moisture proof we could use? 🎅🎄🤶💚🦌🌲⛄
Easy to pull on the strings to straighten and adjust the candy canes when laying soaking wet on the plastic. Saves having to weave in ends too (since the glue will secure them).

I wonder if we could wrap them with a pipe cleaner in the middle, instead of using the glue mixture?
It would probably work!

Would this work well with acrylic yarn? I’m just wondering if the glue mixer would still work well on it or not.
Very beautiful work thanks Mam

Brilliant!!
Super I love you I see your vedio 👌👍👍
I Love this!!!! Excellent! work! Thank you, I may give it a try
OHHHh I just had a light bulb go on,,, What about sparkly glue??? will that give the Candy cane some bling?
Yep, you can also add fine glitter to the water/glue mixture as well.
Love this method 👍ty🥰
You could also use a thich wire and wrap them around that, and then bend the end to make the hook. Could use a glue gun or another good glue to secure it to the wire.
Great idea love this thanks 💕
Lindo! maravilhoso, e fácil de fazer. obrigada amei parabéns.

Excelente
Lindo proyecto...
Una pregunta..
Con que combinas el pegamento...
Con que....???
Would it matter which type of yarn you use with respect to using the glue? Cotton vs. acrylic?? Great festive idea, thank you!!👍❤🎄

wwooww q truco genial 👏👏👏👏

Por favor podrias intentar hacernos un video de como hacer los caramelos en crochet para la navidad 😊
Very cute, and simple. So after it dries..do you just trim the 6' tails?
Yes, absolutely. The tails are just so you can twist it without getting glue on your hands, plus, allows that little bit of extra twist right at the end.

You can always do it the way in the video, then spray a clear sealant on afterwards.
Naztazia thank you so much for sharing and responding so promptly! 💜☮️🕉️
I watched your video and was just wondering if I can use heat a spray starch to get the hook at the top of the glue method?
I've never tried that method with this, so I'm not sure. I usually use the glue method because it forms a very solid shape.
@naztazia okay
@naztazia i just reread my comment and saw SO MANY TYPOS!!
Phones and apps autocorrect incorrectly all the time. I look back and think, no way did I write that!
@naztazia lol, I was the same way...I read that original comment iver again and was like "What on earth am i even saying??
Intentare buscar en tu canal si tienes algun video de como hacer los caramelos
What do you do with the ends of your candy cane when your done glueing them ?
Once dried, just cut the ends off with scissors.
Hi Donna do you have any patterns for a velvet neck chef scarf please
❤❤❤
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️
Please upload a cushion covers simple
Oh great wont glue remains are found on it??? Reply
Will mod podge work?
I always use Elmer's glue for my ornaments, so I can't say one way or the other.
🍭🍬
I'm curious, why are long tails suggested?
Easy to pull on the strings to straighten and adjust the candy canes when laying soaking wet on the plastic. Saves having to weave in ends too (since the glue will secure them).
