Why do you have 2 green strands instead of one?

Might be because the green strands are like doily thread, the white might be a 3 weight yarn and the “3” green strands make up to be a 3 weight

The green yarn is light weight size 2, and the white is medium weight size 4
And I don't have medium weight size 4 from the green yarn 🙈 so I used 3 strands to make them matching.☺️
