Many viewers use these markers for non lethal self defense. Discussing the performance characteristics of the marker would make your video more useful.
Yup. Imagine the TiPX can get upgraded to get FSR. UTS owns First Strike and Pepperball. Pepperball licensed the Tippmann 68/A5 as the TAC-SF and FTC. They work together.
I'm pretty old I guess. When I was playing regularly tippman had a gun called the pro lite.I remember when the model 98 was new.😔We all had Automags and autocockers.
06:12 That is called the "blocker plate" The length is too much for my short arm length. I either go remote line or drop the buttstock as I prefer the CQB setup.
For a non-lethal approach for somebody who wants to use very hard rubber balls for this gun that I am planning on buying could you recommend a brand or maybe even link where you got the ones you were shown in the video? And thanks so much for the tip about lubricating them a little bit when putting them into the magazine. This is going to be my first paintball gun or self-defense gun and I'm planning on just going to shoot it and get used to it and then pretty much just having it around the house in case somebody breaks in
I have a doubt, tha tank buttstok seem really long, does it feel as lokg as it looks? Doesnt seem as maneuverable as the regular TMC with an air like and tank strap to you back
I really wanna give this marker another chance, weird situation: I bought one today as a mech replacement for my normal axe 2.0, and before I got onto the field made sure to visit the chronograph to check it, 115, 125, 114. Trying to adjust it accordingly to the manual, Long time after I got a second one as a replacement, same issues. So situation aside what would have caused the marker to not increase velocity? It was ran on, 10oz HPA 45/68 HPA and a peanut (forget the numbers on that style) is this an o-ring issue? Or something else internal? Cheers to all! (They did refund me after watching the chronograph after two TMCs didn’t work)
Good day. What purpose is served if any with the bottom of the standard mags having that shape? I don't have any idea if it serves a function. Thanks in advance and thank you for your testing.
Yes definitely you can, but there are pistols with a higher "joule" rating that might work better for that. But if you dont want a pistol, they have riot balls, pepper balls, and glass breakers that will stop an enemy all the same. Also with less recoil than an actual firearm, you will be able to get more shots on target.
This is a great Paintball Marker its not so good at shooting anything other than paintballs. Also it depends where you are in the world if you can use this for defending your home.

Good idea John 3.16...time for you to get the camera out.
The quality in this mans presentation. Found my main channel!
My first magfed gun when it was first released.now its the backup to my sar12c and t15..i will never get rid of my tmc.
They went the extra mile with the Midwest industries hand guard. Made in the USA and great quality stuff 👌🏼 👏🏻
Thanks for the info!
I got myself a standard TMC now but end of the month I'm buying the air-thru-stock kit and ima have it taken away to get it done❤
TMC/Stormer has been the best budget magfed for a long time now. But Tippmann is missing out with no FSR upgrade available.
What’s FSR?
It can handle FS with little optimisation.

Funny that the TiPX can be converted but the TMC can't come up with an FSR model.
Perfect review thank you!
Glad it was helpful!

Really old :)
I have two Pro-Lites. 😂 They're rugged as hell. I use them as loaner markers, or when I'm feeling nostalgic.
just bought this kit thanks for the video
Hope you enjoy it!
How accurate is it / how much Power does it have?
Do you have issues with it?

Say I have a mag in my webbing, is there a chance they fly out when you're running? Or are they nice and secure in there?
If your using a tight fitting mag pouch then they shouldn't move
@@ModernIntel oh no I meant the balls in the mag, sorry I should've been more specific!
Hey what type of measurement is it comparable for a red dot sight ?
I have a doubt, tha tank buttstok seem really long, does it feel as lokg as it looks? Doesnt seem as maneuverable as the regular TMC with an air like and tank strap to you back
air in stock makes it a lot more manoeuvrable than a tank in the ASA or an air line, but yes it could be neater

what was the output pressure of the reg? needs to be a lot higher for a TMC than an AXE 2.0
What oil would you like to use on the rubber Paintballs
Any ar15 style marker you are aware of that has last round bolt hold open?
Umarex had a .43 AR15 style rifle that did this but its no longer in production

Good day. What purpose is served if any with the bottom of the standard mags having that shape? I don't have any idea if it serves a function. Thanks in advance and thank you for your testing.
usually these are removable ranger plates that allow you to pull the mags out of your vest and gun more easily. These are fixed on the TMC
@@ModernIntel Thank you for your quick response.
so is the second tank you put on 13cl or 22 ? looks a little wider ..better but wider
we used a 13ci tank for all shots and shooting
Nice clip - but the background is a lot to dark. 😉
thanks - but turn up your brightness
I see a lot of people buying this for home defense. I’m new to paintball. Can this gun be allowed in games?
Hey Ghost, this is definitely a good gun to play paintball with
Dumb question…
This is semiautomatic only? 9:28
yes it is
@@ModernIntel ok thanks.
Is this better than the standard tipman m4 gun?
consistency of shot: they're the same, but we prefer the tank in stock as its much easier to swap from shoulder to shoulder.
I’m just wondering can you go line feeding for air or not
Yes you can use a remote line
How many joules in a shot?
approx 14 Joules
Sounds like how price would review a gun

Can you use self defense rounds for it
works best with paintballs...anything else doesn't work so well
Can you shoot first strike with this gun?
Not without modifying it...M17 is the better choice if you want to use FSR
Where can I get the pad attachment that you used on the back of the tank ?
theres a few different ones out there - this one is moderncombatsports.co.uk/products/13ci-2-inch-diameter-air-tank-stock-pad

Should come out with a paintball gun only made for home defense?
They already have Tippmann TiPX , velocity adjuster on all their tmc and tipx...I use my Tmc magfed for home defense, it is loaded with pepperballs😅
can you.power these things up for home defence !
Yes definitely you can, but there are pistols with a higher "joule" rating that might work better for that. What's a better gun this or the x7 phenom for woodsball
X7 phenom was a much underrated marker, but it's discontinued now...so for that reason only i'd choose the TMC

I would have done tippmann a favor and removed the "made in china" sticker off before the review. But thats just me.
