Hi Kim! This is the first video I've watched of yours, it's so lovely to see another female photographer on here exploring and kicking butt 😊📸🎉 Look forward to seeing more of your videos this year!
I just want to say I really enjoy all your videos. Even if you’re not photographing anything. Photography is all about the journey and not the destination . It’s all about what inspires you the most. Keep up the good work! You’re an inspiration to all.
It's great to see you back! I was beginning to think you were gone for good. I love the fact that you aren't all about landscape photography - there are more than enough of them, I enjoy your work because of the diversity. You really get your love of nature across to the viewer and I am happy you chose to share it with us.
Well, I didn't know you were gone for a while, since I've just discovered you. But welcome back anyway. Bully for you for sticking to your guns about the content of your channel. Here's a big resounding YES to being outdoors, exploring nature, conservation! Follow your heart girl! Let the landscape photo bits fall into place as you will.
I just realized how quickly this channel has taken off! Great work I'm excited to see more. And I'm like you. I've always loved the outdoors, the camera just gives me something to do while I'm out, and a reason to wake up early :)
Okay, I missed you too. Glad to see you back. I am ready for you to take us where I cannot go, at least for now. Hope you weather through all your changes. Traveling mercies on your adventure! Thanks for the videos.
Your channel has always been as you said it would, you, encourage others to get out and enjoy the natural world. It's called motivating people. And you obviously have succeeded.
Your enthusiasm is so admirable! Keep on making choices that bring joy to your life. that is one of life's gifts. I'll add that your backing soundtrack choices are very good .
Sooo godd you're back! I very much missed your motivation! Can't wait to see your Skye vlogs (it's one of my favorite places in Scotland). And don't let viewers dictate you how and what to vlog.
Kim, ignore any negative comments. The most important thing about your TH-cam channel is the word 'You'. It's your channel so you decide what videos you put on it. I love taking photos of landscapes and wildlife but it is certainly more than just pressing the shutter button. Being out there and appreciating what is around you and hopefully having enough people like yourself to want to preserve it for future generations is far more important than just taking the shot. Although I have taken thousands of shots over the years, I wasn't out in those places just for the photography. If people are genuinely interested and have similar passions as you do then I'm sure they will enjoy the infectious enthusiasm you inject into your videos. Keep up the good work and I look forward to your videos from Skye, you won't be disappointed.
It is good to see you again! Welcome back! :-) I am looking forward to see your next video! I saw your new landscape photos that you posted on Instagram, and they are so beautiful!
You've certainly been missed, Kim! Glad to have you back! Keep doing what you're inspired to do. I'm a photographer, but you've inspired me to slow down and enjoy nature more--to be okay with times when I don't get "the shot." Now, I go out just for nature's sake, looking for events in my area a lot more (for instance an Eagle Festival), taking my camera along and enjoying the whole experience. Thank you!
Hi Kim, good to see you back. I just love your enthusiasm and passion for the great outdoors and looking forward to you sharing your adventures on the Isle of Skye. All the very best and good luck with your your potential house move and new job. Enjoy yourself and take care out there on you own. x
Wow Kim I see you have 8k subscribers that’s because you are so happy about the country and the way you come across so very inspirational and fun to watch if you take a photo or not I’ll still be with you. After starting to vlog myself it almost more than about the photos now haha look forward to Skye love the place
Hi Kim. Lovely to see you again. I love watching whatever content you want to put out. I enjoy the walks in the countryside and your enthusiasm for nature and Scotland. The photography is just a bonus. I did read some of the comments you refer to and it must have been disheartening for you. You put so much effort in. For me, you are just right and one of my favourites. You inspire me and I can relate to you. So many blokey blokes out there! Looking forward to sharing your new adventures. xx
Great video as always Kim, personally I think you have always been very open about what your channel is about. For some reason I didn’t get a notification of your video this time and your bell is rung, but it also happened with another channel I watch regularly. Enjoy Skye and looking forward to your videos on your return.
Sometime, Kim, you must drive to Glenlyon, Perthshire, which is often referred to as the most beautiful (and longest) glen in Scotland (Glen Affric not withstanding)). Mid-September is a lovely time. It's my ancestral country and it takes me some 24 + hours to fly to Edinburgh, plus a drive, but I try to get there quite frequently. There are few people living in it now and it's not overrun with tourists. Rich in social history, literature, architecture, clan power struggles and so much more, all with the staggeringly beautiful backdrop of its mighty ramparts. Have a great time in Skye, another lovely place. Maybe call in at Sandaig on the way?
So glad you are back, have missed you also, great to see you smiling and enjoying yourself, looking forward to seeing Skye, all the best and a belated happy new year.
Fantastic seeing you again Kim, you've been missed greatly. Kim you have said on many occasion that your channel is not just about photography but about being out n about in the countryside with nature and exploring hidden gems that other people just drive past. I think you have the balance just right and your enthusiasm to get out in all weathers and go to these stunning places is a real credit to you. TH-cam is saturated with photographers pumping out there camera settings….WHY….Light is changing constantly, finding a good composition is more important. What makes a good image and what makes a good TH-cam channel…….We are all individuals and we all have different tastes and opinions of what is a stunning photo. A stunning photograph is one that YOU like and have put the effort in to getting that image, the miles of walking through beautiful countryside etc. You present your channel very well and are getting better and better the more you do. You will never please all your viewers all of the time so dont try, what one person likes others won’t….thats life!! Keep up the good work, cant wait to see what you’ve planned for this year.
This was another wonderful video Kim! I really enjoyed it and can't wait to see what you going to come up with next! Truly did miss your videos for January and I'm looking forward to you're next video! I'm not sure why you did not take any pictures of the viaduct itself but I thought that was a great photo op! You could have even gotten out your tripod and did some interior photos of that little red Church! What camera are you shooting with, and what is the widest angle lens you have???
... Hi Kim, this is the first video of yours I have seen. I will be sure to check out some of your earlier videos as well. I am a Yank from the state of Vermont, USA & just love you Brit's passion for photography & simply getting outdoors to enjoy what is all around you, as the shot itself becomes secondary... I would gladly sell you some snow, [ real cheap! ] for there is no lack of it here in northern New England... Bill Farr... :-)
Great to see you back Kim, we were wondering where you were and if you were doing ok! Please keep making non-photography videos as well as photography based ones, can't believe you've been receiving criticism for that! If anything we'd like to see more conservation based clips!!! I suspect that the vast majority of your subscribers appreciate all of the content that you upload so just ignore any negative comments you may receive and stay true to what your channel is about :). Good luck with the potential move/new job, and don't worry if life gets in the way of your youtube uploads, we'll look forward to seeing more videos whenever you can get around to posting them :) Sam.
Kim, I have really enjoyed your videos. Even the ones in which you don't get any pictures. I think you have a great attitude and passion about nature, photography and Scotland. I think Scotland should think about hiring you to promote the country to tourists. It's always interesting to see the places you visit and your videos have always been fantastic. Keep up the good work!
Great to see you back at it Kim. As you can see from the comments, you've made quite an impact on everyone. Hope everything is sorted out for you "behind the lens" as that's more important than anything else. Be well and see you soon.
Awesome Kim, I'd wondered where you were, glad that you've ok :). Really looking forward to your videos and vlogs this year, what you have planned sounds great 😀. A TH-cam channel is all about the person who it belongs to and what they are enthusiastic about and not specifically one generic thing, if it were it would be boring and your channel is definitely not :), but diverse and makes you think about the environment you photograph.
Anthony Hedger Thank you and yes - episode 6 from the skye series was filmed at the fairy pools. There's a trailer video on my Facebook if you'd like to see a sneak peak in advance ☺
Welcome back Kim, missed you. I hope your trip to Skye is enjoyable/successfull. Wishing you loads of love n luck x 👍📷 Ps.. A very belated Happy New Year xx
Good to have you back Kim hope the life changes all work out for you with new job etc. by the way i have always got that not all your vlogs are just about landscape photography you have always made that clear. But you are a great advert for Scotland and also for the get up and go attitude that make a great landscape photographer. how many of the moanning minis get up early and out in all weathers like you do. you are a great inspiration thanks for last year and I’m looking forward to this year.
Yey, you're back! :D Looking forward to seeing where your journey takes us, but remember it's your journey! People can come along for the ride or not, but they've no right to demand anything from you or have a pop for not meeting their expectations! Good luck with your move and your new job, further south or further north??
Welcome back Kim, I do enjoy your passion for the out doors and your beautiful country I would love to visit one day, looking forward to future vlogs keep it up.
Such a lovely video, I have missed your input during January. I love all your work whatever the content and look forward to your next videos. Have a great weekend.
There she is....we were about to send out a search party. Missed seeing your videos and having that inspiration. Glad you are back, that you are ok and can’t wait to see Isle of Skye! Good luck and congrats on the new job and move. ❤️
So happy to see you back again! Looking forward to seeing your journey to Skye. (And, when I eventually post the vlog I took a couple of days ago up in the mountains, please note that I described it as a "winter wonderland" *before* seeing this one…I'm really not trying to steal your dialog! 😄 )
Great to see you back Kim, was about to send a search party out looking for you. Good luck on the job and moving fronts, looking forward to Skye vlog 👍
Hi Kim, love your videos and I'm really looking forward to seeing your Skye videos, some of my ancestors are from there, I hope you go to Dunvegan Castle. Have fun! Cheers from New Zealand 😀
Great to have you back Kim :) Love the video footage in this vlog, such an inspiring message to get out & enjoy all we have around us :) & sometimes what you see & feel can't always be captured with an image & if it doesn't feel right, to not take it is so admirable to follow your gut instinct! But you can see how much fun you were having by just being there :) Looking forward to the journey to The Isle of Skye :) Debbie
Hi Kim so glad you are back we were getting worried that you might have this horrid Flu virus that is about this winter. We like to watch you wandering around in the great outdoors its exactly what we enjoy doing too it is good for your health. Just do what you enjoy and ignore the negative comments we love you ;-}

You looked like a kid in a candy shop when that snow started falling again. Nice video, Kim. Love your enthusiasm.
Glad to have you back Kim. I hope you enjoyed the day scouting with your dad!
Kim, welcome back. Skye is awesome, as I'm sure ou know. Cuillins, Quarang and the white (coral) beach. So envious, cant wait to see the video.

Welcome back, Kim! Safe travels and please share some of your adventures when you can.

Based on the comments I see here, I think it's safe to say you can ignore the idiot trolls who might comment. 😃
Good to see you back... I thought you were meeting your Dad? Didn't he want to say hello to 8000 of your closest friends then?
Phil Buglass He's very camera shy Phil - can't say the same about his daughter though 😉
Wow, a girl who can climb over a wire fence. I'm impressed with that.
i was wondering were u went kim
Kim, I've missed you!
Missed you!
Good vlog Kim, stick to your guns about the photography blogging I like to see everywhere you go, so keep them coming please...martin
Kim, if you expect to ever get into the same levels as say Thom Heaton, Gary Gough and others of that level. You are simply going to have to work harder to consilidate your approach, at present you are simply a cute scattered, somewhat talented photographer. You can do better.
