I moved to San Diego a long time ago on purpose. I really enjoy watching you/Brad discover the great things about it and articulate it so well. Your common sense and critical thinking is exceptional. Now on top of that adding in living in a box truck and hanging out by the beach...why are so few people able to figure this out?
Tuned in after the live version. Lots of good info as usual Brad. I think your idea for a home base is an excellent idea and covers all the things that makes sense. Thanks for sharing sir!
Thanks jay! I think this land idea makes the most sense
Sara Dunca had a airport shuttle van
doing a van build and I could def use the bouge rv 12v fridge! I used to live in SD years ago but am in Nor Cal now
Nice! I love NorCal
I’ve been using my ICECO VL60 fridge freezer for exactly 3 years now and it has worked perfectly.
Maybe you could give me some pointers on what I need for my solar. I'm still in Mission Bay right by the Mission Bay RV resort. I have some panels but need the rest
Next time your offered an Ebike...ask for a folding model...I've seen some nice ones
Good idea!
Where did you get your fridge?
June gloom isn't really a thing where I am at out in Chula Vista, the clouds don't make it here that much.
Nice, I need to check it out
Bro! We’ve been rolling towns such a while now. I actually went for some interviews at Belmont there after plenty of camping 🙂 went with work at SeawWorld instead. I’ve got some tickets for giveaways coming up. Summer vibes yo, link up soon!
Yes, let’s link up!
I could really use that fridge
mine just went out in Nevada and lost a lot of food.
Replay. Great LIVE
Thanks for coming
Other question, please…. Where does the exhaust fan above your stove vent out to?
i purchased a traditional RV side wall vent hood. a.co/d/awTQ1gc
@@nomadbrad503 Thank you!
Have you seen Ryan twomey k truck conversion
I have not
Please don't change how you say "MY BOX TRUCK!" I felt a little bummed on this one 😂.
Haha thanks for the reminder 😎✌🏻

I'm like you, Brad; a loner who still wants to live in the civilized world while being able to spend time in the woods as needed.
It’s a good life 😎
Brad, I was sure I was going to buy a 14’er but then I think about the better mpg of the 10’er. (I wish Uhaul sold a 12’er!) I love the room in yours vs the 10’er though. Do you ever wish you got the 10’er instead? Would you be willing to sacrifice that much less room for a few more mpg?
What do ya think?
no way, the 10'er has lower ceilings and not as wide. It's basically a cargo van with square walls. the fuel difference is only going to be a couple mpg im getting 10mpg, the 10' might get 12. the 10' has a 5.4V8 that was in my first cargo van, I averaged 12mpg. I think this van is the sweet spot since you can park it everywhere but its so roomy inside
@@nomadbrad503 Got it. Thanks!
I'd be interested in co-oping a place.
Let's talk about doing a small cluster of tiny homes and RV spots.
I'm retired so I'd be there most times.
I don't think a high cost of living state would be necessary.
Or the mortgage from an existing house... If you buy an older home and rent it, your upkeep would kill your profits. It's easy to maintain an RV park or the tiny homes we could build.
I've sent you an email
G BUD
Yeah, rv park would be a great idea
Brad greetings from south texas. Would it be possible to do a video on autoatic. Transfer switch install.thank you
In America we're trained to become serf class wage slaves and find a job and sell your labor at a heavily discounted labor rate.
I don't know anyone actually receiving 25-30% of the rate your boss is billing you out for.
Some of my contracts in aviation industry paid me $35-37hr but charged the customer $165-$200 hrs.
It really makes you wonder if we're not all just slaves with paper chains
I agree! Most of the money flows to the top. It’s a shame
There are signs in both those parking lots prohibiting sleeping in your vehicle. One side of the parking lot has overnight parking as being ok but no sleeping. How in the heck are yall staying there without getting tickets? Some rv folks have gotten tickets. And one night a week I forget which one, you can’t park overnight because of cleaning.
Seriously how are you staying there without getting the knock?
😎
@@nomadbrad503 I love your videos and I’m just trying to figure out how you stayed with no tickets. 😊
@@angieb4215 the city of San Diego was sued and agreed to stop enforcing their no overnight parking restrictions for 3 years.
@@nomadbrad503 thanks!
Have you ran into Sarah shamblin Ryan twomey
I have not, are they in the san diego area?
Same price as a truck shop shower
yes, and it includes a sauna which I really appreciated
Oy handsome what do you do when you don't work what are your hobbies😊
When I’m not working, I spend time in nature..hiking and exploring
