This documentary makes me so, so happy that the Man & Dog show has a passionate fan base, just as the Chuck E. Cheese and Rock AFire Explosion shows do. I am SO incredibly jealous you guys got to do restoration work on these guys! Now when I go to Wonderland Pier next (whenever that may be, the virus may push back our vacation a little), I’ll be able to appreciate all the fine details put into the show. Thank you for taking care of them!
I don’t feel it’s a rip off at all. Of course they are from Chuck E. Cheese but when you put so much effort and care into these anamatronics, you’ve really made them yours and created something new. I mean, who Else cares this much about this but us? Obviously these new characters have a history In This location and I truly believe, this is amazing. I’d love to get into refurbishing these animatronics as well. I’m kinda jealous. Good job guys! Really. I wanna say though the panda is very much a combination of characters from the pizza time players. Well done guys!
I honestly love that theese animatronics that quite possibly wuld of been destroyed otherwhise now live on in wonderland and entertain generations to come. The comon policy is for the cosmetics to be destroyed and the robots to be sent to the warehouse for parts. Theese guys somehow managed to outrun that fait and ended up there. Very interesting history i hope we get to see more of bubba and his friends soon :)
I can tell that Hank is Cyberamic Jasper from the PTT days because of the banjo and the mask is Cyberamic Jasper from the current days of Present Day Rock since the Avenger Era has passed, making way for the beginning of Present Day Rock

She used to work on her local Pizza Time Theatre show back in the day, and she’s pretty much the fandom’s resident restoration expert!! She does AMAZING work, she’s really just wonderful at what she does!! Also, on an unrelated note: are either of you guys autistic? You guys have the kind of detail-oriented memory and dedication to the past of the show’s history that I usually only see in my fellow autistic people 😉 And no, y’all aren’t alone in memorizing the showtape!! Lots of people in the CEC fandom, especially the autistic people, can recite their favorite showtapes forwards and backwards!! Y’all would fit right in!!! 😄

I have been to wonderland pier scince a year. i saw them every time at the boredwalk and they have been pizza time theater retrofit rocket fire Chuck e cheese and also FNAF the man and dog show are pizza time theater they perform. its just so fun!!! Is it just me, or do these animatronics look like cover-ups for the old Chuck E. Cheese animatronics? I can just tell by the jaws and the eyes. Not to mention the chicken one is Clearly a reskin for Helen Henny.
It's kind of weird how you have to pay to watch the animal tronix show when I other places like chuck E. cheese or showbiz pizza place you don't have to pay
They got rid of it because the salt air finally got to it. The corrosion killed it. And it came time to either pay to restore the whole ride or just get rid of it. It's upsetting that it's not there anymore because it was one of the major attractions we had at Wonderland.
I can tell you right now, I didn't start seeing that until 2007. Before that, in the 90's, one summer when they were done singing, I remember their eyes would close and their heads would go down (But I only remember Henrietta and the Man doing that) The Dog, Rocky & Bubba would leave their eyes open. Then they just stopped doing that and froze in place, eyes open, from 99-07. When I filmed them in August 2007, "The Man & Dog 1/2 and 2/2 videos, in my entire 25 years watching them, that's the best condition I've EVER seen them in. Glad I had the camera running during that time.
@@Actors317 Now that I think of it, I believe the Animatronic mechs were changed in the 2000's, because the animatronics were capable of movements that their counterparts were not in the 90's. Such as Rocky moving his eyes in the 2000's while not being able to do that in the 90's. Then I think the mechs got swapped out again in 2007, with Bubba being able to move his arm a certain way in 2007, while not doing so from 93-06. And rocky having a different eye color and being able to close his eyes halfway was a feature on the new mech possibly swapped out from the one in its place. So, maybe 3 different mechs were in Rocky and Bubba's bodies for 3 decades.
And you could call it sleepy but I think he was just feeling the mood of the song because if you watch bubba around the same time. When they're doing Cotton-Eyed Joe he moves a lot faster cuz that could be with the programming but yeah with the look on his eyes it makes you think oh man little sad part bubba has a lot of heart they all do
Their just retrofits of the pizza time players in the pizza time theatre days and the 3 Chuck E. Cheese retrofits characters are Helen, Jasper and Pasqually
Rocky and Bubba are retrofits of PTT animatronics as well. Rocky The Panda is a Chuck mech with Pasqually’s mask and Bubba is a Munch mech with The King’s mask.
you know inflation exists right? you see when money gets print to frequently the value get horrible so when something like 25 cents get printed to much eventually they have to change the amount to four times the original to keep up decent profits
There is only a question: who made the animatronics? Because there are lots of rumors about it and, I recently discovered a picture of rocky the panda animatronic in a Chuck E. Cheese store during the 80s.

is it actually true that Rocky's eyelids only went down halfway in the 90's? i'm only curious 'cause I never saw that happen once in the footage.
I can tell you right now, I didn't start seeing that until 2007. Before that, in the 90's, one summer when they were done singing, I remember their eyes would close and their heads would go down (But I only remember Henrietta and the Man doing that) The Dog, Rocky & Bubba would leave their eyes open. Then they just stopped doing that and froze in place, eyes open, from 99-07.
When I filmed them in August 2007, "The Man & Dog 1/2 and 2/2 videos, in my entire 25 years watching them, that's the best condition I've EVER seen them in. Glad I had the camera running during that time.
@@Actors317 Now that I think of it, I believe the Animatronic mechs were changed in the 2000's, because the animatronics were capable of movements that their counterparts were not in the 90's. Such as Rocky moving his eyes in the 2000's while not being able to do that in the 90's. Then I think the mechs got swapped out again in 2007, with Bubba being able to move his arm a certain way in 2007, while not doing so from 93-06. And rocky having a different eye color and being able to close his eyes halfway was a feature on the new mech possibly swapped out from the one in its place. So, maybe 3 different mechs were in Rocky and Bubba's bodies for 3 decades.

And you could call it sleepy but I think he was just feeling the mood of the song because if you watch bubba around the same time. When they're doing Cotton-Eyed Joe he moves a lot faster cuz that could be with the programming but yeah with the look on his eyes it makes you think oh man little sad part bubba has a lot of heart they all do

Their just retrofits of the pizza time players in the pizza time theatre days and the 3 Chuck E. Cheese retrofits characters are Helen, Jasper and Pasqually
Rocky and Bubba are retrofits of PTT animatronics as well. Rocky The Panda is a Chuck mech with Pasqually’s mask and Bubba is a Munch mech with The King’s mask.

you know inflation exists right? you see when money gets print to frequently the value get horrible so when something like 25 cents get printed to much eventually they have to change the amount to four times the original to keep up decent profits

There is only a question: who made the animatronics? Because there are lots of rumors about it and, I recently discovered a picture of rocky the panda animatronic in a Chuck E. Cheese store during the 80s.

Chuck E Cheese. They were bought from a closed resturaunt, and retrofitted into these guys
