Your reactions I just keep coming back too. Always great thank you👑❣️🥰😇
That is the sexiest bass riff I have ever heard, gives me chills every time!!!💓💓💓🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hap...Roger and Brian comment on the WHOLE concert. I hope to see more. Loved this reaction!
And also can find a lot of studio version videos they also have added commentary to as well, and can always count on Roger not to sugar coat👍
I love Roger's responses in interviews! Yeah no sugar coat😂
Montreal was filmed on high quality 35mm by Saul Swimmer, so apart from Live in Budapest which was also filmed in 35mm it’s the best quality footage of Queen around.
Check out Brian & Rogers commentary on it’s a hard life video is hilarious
Love the way they always watch each other 👍
Glad you’re doing Roger & Brian commentary’s they are so funny 😆 you should do more x
The Montreal concert was filmed in 35 mm movie film, as it was to be released as a concert film to be watched in theaters, thus the exceptional quality
Before Queen bands didn't communicate with their audience like this, Freddie started it, today is kind of usual thing, that's what "imitation" meant..But, Freddie was and still is No 1 with commanding people..I do have Montreal DVD and did watch the whole concert with this commentary, really interesting stuff..A chest wigg, haha! You did not react to studio version of "Dragon Attack", btw, please check that! This version was much shortened, many good parts are missing, although Freddie strutting across that stage..oh, boy!
Awwww the Montreal concert. Thats such a great concert. You need to watch just one of their concerts. FREDDIE was always like that through every concert. FREDDIE was all non stop action from start to finish. Great reaction HAP. You should hear the women screaming when FREDDIE would just take off his jacket. Then when he would take his shirt off man the women went nuts. I would if I was there too. I always thought that FREDDIE is the sexiest man ever. You have got to do a whole QUEEN concert so that you will see how entertaining FREDDIE is through out a concert. Thank you HAP. Have a good evening. Take care. Your girl, QUEEN BEE.
Oh Lord, who wouldn't go nuts with Freddie taking off his clothes??? 🔥🥵🌡️💓🔥🥵🌡️💓🔥🥵🌡️💓
Lol there are few performances (love of my life from this show & Dreamer’s ball from Paris come to mind) where I might have just imploded if I’d been in the audience. The expression “my ovaries exploded” seems pretty apt.
The Montreal concerts were commissioned as part of a trial IMAX-like film technology that was intended to give the viewer the experience as if they were at the concert. This is the reason why it was shot in such high definition and why the crowd is drowned out more than another live recordings. In the end, the technology never took off and the release of the concert footage was not overseen by Queen, much to their disapproval, especially since the unused footage was discarded, making it more difficult when Queen eventually gained the rights to the footage and sought to re-mix and release the concert as the We Will Rock You DVD in 2007.
Actually, Brian and Roger explain all of this in their commentary at the commencement of this concert and also how Freddy appears to be agitated at the beginning of the concert because he was pissed off at how the organizers had arranged the cameras on stage, which Freddie thought was suffocating
Live in Montreal was first released on VHS under "We Will Rock you". This was pretty much the only Live concert they did not own, the director Saul Swimmer was apparently difficult to work with, they tried for years to buy the rights to this and eventually got it when Saul died, they were given it in a box of film rolls and they did thier magic with it. Fantastic concert.
Their personal insights are so interesting and adds to my enjoyment in revisiting concert footage
This whole concert was amazing, loved this commentary video, have watched it all several times.
@8:37 when Brian went over to John, John appears to be doing a countdown with his arm to make sure everyone is synchronized. They did congregate perhaps for that reason, to synchronize. During such individual complicated parts by each performer it could be easy to get out of synch. I have seen John do this before in other shows.
Queen had the best rythm section in rock
@@theresarandall7448 - Absolutely!. Roger and John were always in lock step and constantly watching each other. They were the anchor for the band that enabled Freddie and Brian to do their thing.
That's part of what made Queen such a phenomenal live band.
@@theresarandall7448 - Saw them live and it was the best concert I ever saw and I saw everyone from The Beatles to Elton John.
@@susieq9801 I would have loved to see them live. The love that they had for their audience was reciprocated which is probably why Queen had the biggest and most diverse fanbase in the world
Roger must have had arms and shoulders like a boxer!
I 👍 enjoyed this type of reaction, especially with the commentary by Brian and Roger. I've listened to/watched, other videos with their commentary throughout the performances, and find that having the context of different aspects explained, really helps guide you through the parts that perhaps weren't clear without the commentary become far more entertaining, imo. I hope you'll do more commentary video reactions in the upcoming videos. I really liked it anyway, lol! Thanks again Hap!
It’s amazing they got all of this film back after how many years. It is well deserving of Bri & Rog’s commentaries while watching again after so long. So many brilliant performances came out of this concert. I’ve only heard the commentary on a few songs. I need to hear more. 🌻🌻
I love the roger/brian commentary videos! Hope you do all of them!!
More of Brian and Roger commentary please! This is where you hear how the band really works with each other. The admiration for Freddie that they have shines through in this concert commentary. They both obviously miss Freddie so much. This was a 2 night special for a film and the venue is a hockey arena, home of the Montreal Canadiens so capacity is about 17000. This would have been small after the football stadiums they had played in South America. That's probably what is giving this the front room feeling. Queen were great musicians that didn't need to play to backing tracks and still don't. It's what makes live music great. You might as well stay home and play the record if they are going to play to backing tracks.
Love the commentary. It's such fun to hear what Brian and Roger have to say and get some inside info on what was going on. Please do more. I've listened to it many times but it never gets old. They're so awesome. Thank you for a great reaction.
So glad you reacted to this!! I absolutely love the commentary from Montreal. It was informative and fun! I hope you do more of them. Thanks, Hap!!
You should do the whole commentary concert ♥️♥️
Love you queen! 😘😘😘
FANTASTIC! GREAT HEARING BRIAN AND ROGER REMINISCE ABOUT THE TIME AND PERFORMANCE!! THOSE ARE THE MOMENTS STAMPED IN TIME. LUCKILY ON FILM! AWESOME REACTION HAP 💜👑🎶
It's great to listen to Brian and Roger's commentary on this show. Given that Montreal was being filmed I think Freddie, though pissed off, was at his showman best. The film was remastered by Queen eventually thus the excellent quality.
I'm glad you're reacting to this commentary!
Love all the commentary versions from Montreal. I hope you do more!!! You should start with the opening song because they explain all about the concert and how they came up with this final version remastered. Its "We Will Rock you fast version" as the opener.
We can't travel back in time yet...so hearing their commentary is as close as we get to that moment in time. Fascinating. And a bit of prep for posterity to inherit.
Good morning Hap!! This was delightful listening to Brian & Roger comment on the Montreal concert. Very insightful 😃 Plus the Dragon Attack jam session!!
Great reaction as always! It’s pleasure to catch up with this commentary with u Hap. Thanks 💙
Hap, this was so dam good👍👍🥰🥰 thank you sweetie 👍👍😘
Love to watch it everytime. Thanks for the reaction.
WOW!! THAT WAS GREAT!! I have watched the live Montreal Dragon Attack performance many times.. but this one, with Brian's and Roger's comments.. and your's too Haps3speakz!!.. made it perfect!. Not to say.. your reactions, which I have NEVERRR tired of.. made it even more special... Love your part in all of Queen's gigs. Keep up the good work.. and you yourself are not only good-looking, but a "sweetheart personality too... Love it all.
Love love it when you do Queen!! It's so refreshing!! But of course my FAVORITE bands in the world!! So LOVE these guys! I sure miss seeing John included in their conversation!!
I didn't know these existed. Thank you! I found them. If you start at the beginning of the concert the commentary flows from one song to the next. It's really interesting.
Awesome Hap! Thanks for another great reaction! I love this commentary. I'm with the others here who are asking for more of the R & B commentary of this concert, please?
Hap, you are too funny. Love your sense of humor. 😆.
And on a side note, Freddie....best front man ever. What fun. Wonder what it's like for these guys to watch themselves from years gone by?
5:48 This song is really hard on drums as Roger says, The speed you have to hit the hi-hat with your right hand is really hard to keep up and hold. You wouldn't believe it but the hi-hat is at the same speed as a Thrash Metal beat here. Great Reaction. Also it would be better watching these commentaries from the beginning to the end and not randomly one performance and then a performance that was before the other one, thats a little too chaotic, I suggest you watch all of them but in order :D.
Awesome !. Thanks so much .Great with the commentary.this did feel like they were in my living room 🙋
Freddie at his best!!!!!!!
They did commentary to the whole concert, very funny and informative..Nano nano did the concert so you can see every song in seperated videos..
Loved this so glad you checked it out I found this concert with the commentary very interesting , thanks hap stay safe my friend ❤
Awesome reaction! I was happy you shared this with us and you seemed so into the 'fresh live babe' as I was when I watched this. I couldn't take my eyes off from Freddie's moves. Just wow 😍💯🎶🎵💜
Great one Hap, I really enjoy these commentary videos. As others have said Brian and Rog do the whole concert plus virtually every single they ever released, it's interesting to hear their stories and memories. Hope you will do more in the future xx
My fave concert.
Hi Hap, glad you did this. It is fascinating to watch this concert and listen to their commentary - so insightful!!
Their commentary on Another One Bites The Dust at this concert is hilarious! They talk about Freddie's white shorts. 😂🤣😂😅
I just mentioned that in reply to someone else. I laughed through the entire song. That Freddie - totally unique.
I love these so much. My fav is BoRap.
Is the whole thing on TH-cam? I feel like it’s only certain songs.
Lol I can’t imagine Freddie w/o chest hair.
Little fun fact: When you see Roger throw his head back like that, he’s spitting & his roadie would have to take cover. (A little tidbit from Peter Hince’s book)
How could any crowd stay on their plastic seats when being exposed to Queen??? That's impossible, we have to move 💓💓💓💓
Molto interessante i commenti di Roger e Brian su questa canzone. Grazie Hap per una nuova reazione stranamente diversa 🌹💖😘
This is just fantastic stuff - fantastic. I hope you do more commentary from Rog and Brian , it’s so much fun to listen to.
Iconic, legendary, perfect
Great zHap,have only heard a couple of these. More is good
Shout
Shout
Let it all out
Love you brother
I think motreal was film concert with profesional cameras for moves thats way video so good
HAP3 can you please react to rain must fall from queen, it's a type like of modern music it is basically written by John and Freddie, please check it out!
Brian 'insisting..'
When Freddie says to the beat I think he's reminding the band to join in! Once he says it you can hear the drums..
Is it possible to miss and love someone who you didn't even meet in your life? I wish i met Freddie
Cheers Haps, that was different.
That's one sexy performance, very jazzy sound! Love it!!!😍🥁🎸🎤🎶🎵❤️❤️❤️
80 dragon attack I think it would have done ok if it had been
But I don't think it was released
As far as I know its only the released ones that are played on the radio
Shame they never mentioned John who was awesome on that track
To be fair, they do on other songs.
Very interesting
@karolyn it's the 2nd from the top comment , look for my avatar on the Great King RAT reaction by HAP.. its there!
someone has mentioned it down below about him saying 'imitating'
I think it was nice that they said that about him and that others don't do it as well
I was upset hearing Brian compare him with Adam that he always hits the high notes live Freddie would love and hate him..doit better
which i thought was very unfair and in my opinion he should just complement adam and leave it at that or explain
so it was nice they actually complemented him here, but doing performances like this rather than just deliver the song is going to be more tiring...
Freddie said if a song is energetic I want to give it energy,I could just stand there but i don't want to do that, though some songs are quiet..
Brian has said that when they were with Smile Freddie would critique them and it included interacting with and including the crowd ..
they are all brilliant musicians but I don't see it as them changng the name to queen when Freddie joined but starting a very different band
Brian said Freddie wanted to do something different give a performance not just deliver a song
Brian said well that's how bands performed at that time
but they obviously came round to it and it worked!
and as Roger said now bands imitate him!
I think freddie had more of a creative vision for the band
Queen wasn't the type to complement and leave it at that. They were honest and playfully poked jabs at each other, and challenged each other to do better. Freddie would not take it personally, in fact he'd probably be proud in a weird way, heh.
Just testing I haven't been able to post to the correct one

Was Freddy mad at John at the beginning of this. He gave him a look and he stopped playing. Was he not on beat
