I guess I never knew what RIDE OR DIE meant because from my personal perspective, it’s means dealing with any and everything from a man and just accepting if something is bad and uncomfortable, then I can’t have no opinion, I can’t complain, and I can’t make any suggestions to push the narrative forward. Basically, I don’t see it as a positive thing; I see it as a self-destructive thing that includes me going down the rabbit hole as well.
If a man lose his job or things aren’t taking off as planned, that’s different. But being with someone who makes terrible choices and then don’t learn from their mistakes and still expect me to be their support or encourage their foolery is never acceptable in this lifetime or the next.
So, RIDE OR DIE needs to be completely clarified because as she said, most men think of it in a good way, but women I know think of it as the worse way to see a relationship.
