Overcoaching can confuse the way we need to play. Back to basics. Get those right and we can build, the players seem on board with what he is trying to do which means there is still fight. We are leaking goals and the defence is not good enough atm but taking a silver lining out of the first 7 games, we can score. Okay he's not a good set piece coach we've been dreadful and he had to go, but, the only reason he's been sacked now is so Fosun etc can say hey we've something. Well you've not done enough! I like Gary O'Neil I think he's a really nice bloke and I'd love to see him succeed but at the moment he's the problem, he went to a four and it has never worked. You just get paralysis through analysis (so you don't take action when it's obviously needed) then sub a player to make one thing better that has a bad effect on the rest of the play - hence silly subs when your best player is brought off. The fans were chanting "You don't know what you're doing". This sacking kind of proves it.
