Bravo Eliane !! Her piano introduction of "The Wee Small Hours..." is rich with memories of Bill Evans harmony, her strong soloing over the changes of "The Way You Look..." is reminiscent of Keith Jarrett's approach, her harmony and freestyle playing in her solo is very McCoy Tyner, and her time and tempo changes are pure Oscar....yet Eliane is totally original in her own voice and sound. She is a phenomenal jazz pianist, singer and arranger. Whether playing hot or cool, she is great !

This video's from 1996. Elias has aged significantly since then. Time is hard on women, especially in pop and jazz music. They really don't age well.
