Don't be fooled brother. This is just liquid nitrogen. Every dangerous instinct u have for LPG is true. Real LPG would have made the cylinder fly like rocket in the video.

The cylinder didn't fly like a rocket because he is released the pressure bit by bit.
Also, the frost is formed because of adiabatic cooling. When compressed gas is released, it gets cold. Not because it's liquid nitrogen

The gas in the cylinder (LPG) is at very high pressure as compared to atmospheric pressure.
When LPG is SUDDENLY released, due to high pressure difference between LPG & the gases in the atmosphere, the LPG expands instantaneoulsy.
Any process that occurs instantaneously, becomes adiabatic..i.e...no heat transfer occurs.
As the LPG expands instantaneously, it has no time to transfer heat energy in from the surrounding.
When a gas expands its INTERNAL ENERGY decrease.
Internal Energy - total energy content of all individual components of system(gas), at microscopic level( kinetic, potential & vibrational energies of atoms & molecules).
Internal energy doesnt include kinetic & potential energy of the system as a whole at macroscopic level.
Hence when LPG expands, its internal energy dec. Since the expansion is adiabatic, the LPG cant intake heat energy from surrounding.
&
As internal energy is related to temperature of a system(gas).
Dec in internal energy -> dec in temp.
So LPG feels cold as it comes out.
I hope this is the reason.

Been in lpg gas business for years. It’s minus 44 degrees.it causes frostbite to skin.when liquid lpg is exposed to air it expands 270 to 1 ratio.into vapor gas that is burned. Never fill a cylinder over 80% full. Need room for expansion if outside temp goes up. That’s why all lpg cylinders any size has a relief valve, to relieve pressure when expanding.or cylinder would blow up. Nfpa law is pressure relief valve replace every 12 years. Look for date of manufacturing on cylinder it must be stamped into metal on tank no matter what size. If it’s over 12 years old and relief valve hasn’t been replaced? It’s illegal. Unless it’s a asme tank. Those tanks has no expiration time on valves.

In case of any kind of LPG leakage suspected immediately disconnect and recap the cylinder. Then dial 1906 its LPG emergency response number.
LPG is in liquid form and under pressure. To vaporise it requires latent heat for vaporisation. This is attained by heat transfer from the surface of cylinder. Yet the cylinder can exchange the heat for a fixed rate of gas flow, which is controlled by the gas regulator. If the rate of vaporisation is very high, then the part till which LPG liquid is present will start to cool down at a very fast pace to sub zero temp. Resulting in ice formation around that area. (Boiling point of LPG is far less than 0 degree celsius). The LPG liquid expands to 165 times i.e. 1literally of liquid LPG transforms in to 165 liters of gaseous LPG, so my friend during this experiment you endangered more than your life. Don't do such stupid mistakes, your actions could end up killing others.
