Während Bands wie MaidaVale viel mehr Aufmerksamkeit verdient hätten, weil die Mädels ihre Instrumente und Stimmen wirklich beherrschen und eine Athmo erzeugen, als wäre man in den 60ern, hängen die Jungs und Mädels irgendwelchen überbewerteten Gangsta-"Rappern" nach, die noch nicht mal gute Texte schreiben können. Irgendwas stimmt mit dieser Welt nicht. Früher hätten diese Mädels auf Woodstock gespielt oder Sofia wäre zumindest in einem Atemzug mit Gitarristinnen wie Lzzy Hale oder Orianthi genannt worden. Aber ich glaube nach wie vor an meine MaidaVale-Mädels und weiß, dass sie es irgendwann bis ganz nach oben schaffen, weil das Zeug dazu hätten sie auf jeden Fall!
Also so nach 50mal anhören habe ich bis jetzt keine Fehler der Band ausgemacht.Dieses Liveconcert der Band ist das BESTE was TH-cam zu bieten hat.Bild und Tonqualität sehr sehr gut.Das Sofia musikalisch den ganzen Laden schmeißt ist schon eine besondere Art.Gibt es auf diesem Niveau nicht viele Bands.Da der Bass die Grundmelodie des öfteren mitspielt oder sogar einleitet,die Idee schon,was für ein cooler Schachzug.Mit der Sängerin das A und O.Diese persönliche Note - Bitte nicht wechseln - was bei vielen Bands so oft passiert,zum Nachteil.Vor allem kann Sie Bass und Gitarre spielen und Ihre Tanzeinlagen sind und werden Kult wenn auch immer barfuß.Was das Schlagzeug angeht also optimal besetzt.Ist keine Topmaschine wie Ian Pace von Deep Purple, aber macht für DAS einen sehr guten Job.Freu mich auf die 3 LP.Die zweite war ja schon eine Steigerung was Konzept und Reife angeht.Also Spingsen wie man in Kölle seet (Ohren auf )Gold Mind das beste Stück

@@kjellswebilius7235 I say 'INCREDIBLE...' not because it's a 100% women band, but that's an incredible sound, the guitarist is fantastic (and all the members) , I have a big LP collection with band fronted by a female singer, and from Sweden I also like Blues Pills, Spiral Skies, Spiders, Luciferian Light Orchestra, Glitzy Glow, Heavy Feather....!!! In France, nothing interesting in music now for me. The only good thing was our Frenchy guitarist: Dorian Sorriaux with the Swedish singer Elin Larsson (Blues Pills). ... Now the 2 Maidavale LP are in my stock!

I agree it doesn't matter if they are women or men, but I love the fact that the women takes a step forward in the rock & roll business. And that this Maida Vale love to play this kind of music, that's incredible. Takes a special mind. I also have a special "relation" to them, as they met and formed this band at the same place where I'm living, on the island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea.

Yes I can understand, Gotland island is maybe a special place, because there is a long way by sea from the 'classic' Sweden, of course with a band like this, you can be proud! I start to write a book in french about 'female fronted HM/Psyche/AOR...' late 60s to mid 90s..and of course a special chapter with the new generation of 'Revival' Psyche/Doom/Stoner.... so when I listen this show, it was magic, where this band find this sound, this style?!! I just discovered MaidaVale on Spotify with their song (If You Want The Smoke) Be The Fire, which I loved. I thought I would check for them on TH-cam, and am rewarded by this awesome live show. I am a great lover of psychedelic music, and this band really floats my boat. Matilda has an awesome voice for this style of music. Love this music these ladies are performing.
