I personally did not like her a lot in the first season, but I like the show maker idea, that she got her red hair and scars after a big accident in the fight with Nilfguard, and it seems like she changed not only physically, but also mentally. She starts acting like a Triss that I am used to in-game series. Anna Shaffer made tremendous work to give her character that soft voice, a little bit naive, lighting, fulfilled with empathy, politeness, and delicate qualities that Triss has! It seems like she or show makers studied the game series as well. From the worst character in the first series to the one of the best on second! I see growth in actor work. She is fantastic!

To be honest, The witcher game Triss Merigold is much more prettier than her live-action counterpart. I mean I don't blame the casting of her actress it's just that she doesn't fit the bill of her description when it comes to the lore. I will say this though, if some people still like this show for what it is and the characters that don't have to represent the books then that's fine by me.

Way more than Yen, that's for sure. Triss isn't some challenge you inevitably lose interest in once they've be conquered, which is the only reason anyone would chose Yen over Triss. Triss is the one who brightens up your life and makes you feel special without feeling like you need to do anything to earn it besides be yourself.

Too bad henry gave up the role for veey hectic work with superman 2 and other dc movie. Plus the trash movie enola. Would have been great if he gave up that movie instead of the witcher. Still the witcher has many episodes and demands a lot of time he cant afford.

Yen (in the other video I watched) looks far to young and a bit nerdy.. Triss? Is a fiery red head and not some meek little lamb. Also Triss (in the game) is a natural red head. (key word: Natural.) So the dye job is also pretty bad. I'm not sure if this would be a show that would be true enough to the source material for me to actually want to spend money on a subscription. We all know Geralt's history with both ladies. If the show follows with some of the "lore" of the games? Geralt would more resemble..well.. robbing the cradle comes to mind.
