This is true. I've sparred with the bjj guys at my gym and it's hilarious when they try to strike and catch a mean kick to the body. Immediately, they resort to their bjj game but it doesn't work when punches and actual stand up skill is involved. In the off chance they do take me down, whenever I return strikes from the bottom, it confuses them 😂😂😂.
You should have mentioned the other leg being kinda far to prevent grabbing before the circling or when you're standing up and doing a large base. It's what wrestlers do right?
