Very nice presentation. Early in the video, you said 18-22 PSI on suction side and 125 PSI on high side as specified for ~70F ambient. However, once you filled the system with refrigerant, if I am reading correctly your gauges were 35 PSI and 140 PSI approximately. Are these operating pressures because it was on while you were filling to help the process along?
    Thanks.

134a is charged as a liquid. When I put the charge in I go through the high side to see if the low side equalizes and in that way I know the cap tube or system has no blockage. In domestic or commercial refrigeration I place my electronic leak detector in the bottom of the system then close the doors. Refrigerant is heavier than air so it will fall and set off my leak detector. That way I know there is a leak inside without needed to take everything out first. A micron guage would serve you better in your testing for a leak or air in the system. Good job though.

do you not do a pressure check and leak check prior to putting it on a vacuum?

I have a 601r from around '04. The interior lights only come on when the compressor is running. Any thoughts? We have a new control panel we van install but I want to make sure.

my mother has a subzero 601 r/f fridge. it does this weird thing where it cools good then stops cooling and shows error code 06 ec. she has been unplugging it when this code shows up to get it to cool again. this fridge has always gave her problems meanwhile I've been using the same cheap 300 fridge that I got from a salvation army for like 15 years already and it still keeps my beer ice cold. I think my mothers subzero fridge cost her 6000 usd.
