It seems like a good idea to use your phone for the camera since it's already something that you own and very good at filming. But on a bike, I am thinking that a body or helmet mount makes more sense to avoid air turbulence and not looking like a mad scientist.

Still would have the same problem. It's the angle of the camera that. needs to be addressed. This does that.
