Thanks for another great video. We just watched a video where a Tire Center was unable to lift a camper because the frame was too high and the ROLL AROUND FLOOR JACK could reach that high; so they jacked at the axle. WHY NOT place an 8" x 8" maple block between the frame and the plate of the floor jack? Is that an unsafe situation. Thanks in advance for your reply.

Have a question on my new trailer- my dealer seems baffled so I figured I would reach out. Just got a brand new Diamond C 7x14 Dump with Telescopic Cylinder (Power up Gravity Down) and also Hydraulic Jack (power up and down). Diamond C uses one KTI unit with a 4 button control on this. Intermittently the up function for the dump box will not work, sounds like the motor is spinning but just a dull noise and no movement. Sometimes it will do it and then immediately start going up- sometimes you can hit the up button 10 times and it will run just the motor (I’m assuming motor I’m hearing) and then start to work again. Any idea what it could be? Trailer brand new and battery voltage is good (12.8 volts).

Hi! Thanks for watching! What you are hearing is the motor running. The 2 most common issues I see with this set up is air in the line or a stuck valve. Both of these are normal to see on a new trailer. I would refer you back to your owner's manual for info on how to bleed that style of pump. Regardless of whether it is air or a stuck valve, these are both issues covered under warranty for a new trailer. You will have to go through a Diamond C dealer to repair this or to get you in contact with tech support. Though it may be a hassle, make sure you go through the proper channels so as not to void your warranty. I hope this helps!
