you're great teachers. an AAC is very important for communication disabled children. as a speech-language pathologist, i'm so impress coz, our clinic are also lacking of that technology. yet, we need a lot more for training and equiped ourselves using the tools. Good for you and you children.
Our community college has been using this video in a course. Alas, because the video lacks verbatim captions and a transcript, we may have to stop using it. Here are three options for making the video more accessible to students: * Add a transcript. TH-cam can synchronize the text file with the video and create captions automatically. * Edit TH-cam's automatic captions for accuracy. * Change the video's license from “Standard TH-cam License” to “Creative Commons Attribution License.” This would allow us to copy the video and add captions. Thanks for considering this request. I would have preferred to contact you more privately but couldn't find any other way to reach you.
These are great! But i have a question that i hope you can answer... you said you only had one deaf student, does he/she ALSO have mental of intellectual disability? I ask because in my school district they had the deaf students in their own classrooms. I dont know how it is in your district, i was just wondering. Great assistive technology!! Love it! I am taking an class on assistive technology this summer at my university, thats how i came across your video.

This is fantastic and inspiring. Thanks so much for sharing these options and your great positive attitude!
This is great. As a college student preparing to go into student teaching, this was extremely helpful for me! Thanks for the ideas!
This was awesome. I am a teacher as well and I recognize you have a lot of knowledge and experience in the special education field.
Those all sound really awesome!
This is really, really great. Would it be too much trouble to ask for a list of these items you describe?
Thank you for making this video. It is excellent!
