As Salaam Alaakum. Brother you are correct, Hon Minister Farrakhan is well received, all over the world. The Most successful IMAMS and Muslims, Male and female came from this community.

Qur'an is first, Hadiths are beautiful. I'm not into those who like to dispute over Allah. The Qur'an is every aspect of our living as human beings on this planet for which is in the heavens along with everything else.

I totally agree with you brother. Though I am a Muslim follower of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan we need to study Islam and its history then build. Then we can discuss our teachings and the teachings of the Messenger of Allah, the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad

NOI wouldn't let me in in Memphis back in the 90s because my paternal lineage was the wrong persuasion. So, i came to Al Islam and nobody cared, that a dude i never knew was white had nothing to do with me on any level. Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Alameen 😂

Alhamdulillah. I agree again, Sheikh😅 this video probably wasnt directly for me after almost 30 years, but i would like to just concur. i started on Bukhari and Muslim, much earlier than I was ready, so YES, these two collections should be maybe level 2 classes. Going out in jumaat has been the best teacher for me. Jumaat is like full immersion learning. Also, The Reliance of the Traveller is also good fiqh book, that compiles all the madhabs and shows where they all agree or have differences in opinion, was/is helpful for me to find fiqh hadith in one place. Allah guide us all to and keep us all on Siratul Mustaqeem. JazakumAllah khairun, Dear Sheikh!✌🏽🖤🤗

The splitting of the moon is interesting, recently astronomers figured out that the far side of the moon is actually internally distinct from the other side. This is no joke, infact, this astronomer was saying the far side of the moon could be completely pancaked on the back of the near side we see.

As salamu alaykum, thank you for this video, I am contemplating going to school for Islamic studies but wanted to do some of my own studies myself first. MashAllah this came right on time. In regards to the Quran should we get a Tafsir? If so, which one should we get? I have just ordered the 40 Hadith book as well as the riyad-us-saliheen book!

Alaikum as Salaam, Alhamdulillah! I pray Allah bless you on the path of learning. I think the commentaries that have been translated all have difficulties with them. By difficulty, I don't mean to imply something negative per se. There are just details and nuances that a teacher would be helpful with. At the same time, there are benefits to them. I think a good start is The Endlesss Banquet by Hamza Abdul-Malik. It's a thematic rather than verse by verse commentary. Also, Maulana Mohammed Ali has good footnotes in his translation of the Qur'an.

I agree that much more study is required and necessary for the Muslim community. FACTS!!!
Had it not been for the teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, Brotha Jabril Muhammad, Brotha Dr. Wesley Muhammad, the NOI Research Department and many other NOI scholars and writers, I would have nothing to do with Islam as taught by the so-called mainstream.
Why? Having grown up in America and experienced White Supremacy firsthand, I have developed a GREAT distaste for being the racial “other” when interacting with groups and their religious beliefs. Had I not been shown the historical significances of black people and our primary role in Islam and the history of the Black God, I would have NO interests at all with practicing Islam.
The so-called mainstream Islam, as taught today by the so-called orthodox community takes great pains in LEAVING OUT “the black” in Islam. White Supremacy has infected Islam, Christianity, and Judaism and when the orthodox community is confronted with this reality, “color doesn’t matter” is not an acceptable answer to me.
So yes, a complete and historically accurate Islam needs to be studied more in-depth by those who claim to be followers. The question now is, WHO has done the work (academically) to INCLUDE “the black” role and significance in Islam? All of the aforementioned brothas above are very capable of providing the proper Islamic framework to begin your studies, but for the more critical academic study of Islam and “the black” presence, influence, and creation of Islam you should seek the writings of our brotha Dr. Wesley Muhammad Ph.D. who has put in the over 20+ years of study, which UNCOVERS “the black” in Islam.
For your studies consider these works by Dr. Wesley Muhammad:
    (1) Black Arabia & The African Origin of Islam
    (2) Egyptian Sacred Science and Islam - A Reappraisal
    (3) Take Another Look - The Quran, The Sunnah, and the Islam of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, and
    (4) Tajalli wa-Ruya: A Study of Anthropomorphic Theophany and Visio Dei in the Hebrew Bible, the Quran and Early Sunni Islam (Dissertation).
