Hi Kanchan: That's odd - you could always contact Adobe Support because it should show up for you. You might have a setting in your preferences preventing it from resizing certain objects in the file. XO Lisa
Hi Alex: Great question - I've never actually tried this but I don't see why it wouldn't work. Anytime I have problems with this InDesign feature, I simply send my file to Adobe Technical Support and they fix it for me. You can contact Adobe directly. They're super friendly 1 (800) 833-6687. Ack, when using the liquid page pop up I can click scale but not resize anything. In your video you didn't use it but went up to the top of the page to use it and resize, but i do not have that tool bar . . . confusing . . .

Custom size based on the Happy Planner! Am I the only one of your followers that is Happy Planner obsessed? I know it looks a bit less elegant, but I never again can go back to a planner that I cannot rearrange everything to suit my every whim. And I love stickers and lots of different interchangeable covers and dashboards. Love them! It's what got me interested in making planners and sticker packs. By the way, do you have any idea what mil the laminate is on the covers of the Happy Planner, which seems to be the same as the Erin Condron snap in covers? I just bought a laminator today with the intent of trying some of my own covers and dashboards and eventually sell them.
Hi Tricia: I'm sure there are tons of happy Planner followers but I so passionately loathe and despise discs that we never discuss those planners. lol. But for sure - whenever I predict that idsc planners will go out of biz, someone is like "Happy Planners the the bomb - I love them" so you're not alone. ;-) As for your HP question - I have no idea since I have never owned one or looked at them.
Troubleshooting steps for printing directly from inside InDesign to a home printer - Check your document settings. Go to File>Document Info and check your paper size, bleeds and slugs - Check your Print Dialog box settings. Go to File>Print>Setup - Make sure your printer has the latest drivers installed - Make sure you have the latest version of InDesign installed I suspect that it is probably your printer. Many home printers have limitations on - What sizes margins and printable areas the printer can accept and print out. - Memory - It could also be the memory card in your printer - if you have a particularly large file or complex page, it could be too much for your printer to handle. - Hardware Settings on your Printer - You'll want to contact your manufacturer directly to troubleshoot if there are different settings you can apply to achieve the printing that you would like to have

Hi Shiv: InDesign CS3 was released in 2007 and I would tell you but I have no idea. I'd refer you to Adobe but they don't support anything prior to 2017 so not sure. Sorry - alternatively, you could purchase Adobe InDesign - it has a monthly rate.
Thank you for all of your help! I do have a question! When I resized letter size to A5 it seems like everything did resize automatically but it went passed the margins a little. Is that normal or would I need to manually resize the text and etc on the page? TIA!
Pretty Fabulous Designs Awesome, thanks so much! I have some issues in that area. I create all my notebooks by hand at home. Now with your help I can start designing them , and not just have them blank on the inside.
Not the first time you make a tutorial useful af. thx
Glad to hear that!
it's not resizing my artwork :(

Hi Chelle: Sorry for the 4 years late answer but yes, that's normal. You'll just need to move it manually to put it in the right place. XO Lisa
