Thank you for posting a video. This is the first time I’ve been able to have enough internet to stream video. I’m in Hendersonville NC and our area was slammed really bad in WNC. I’m glad you and your family are safe and well. Thank you again for posting. Helping me be distracted from the devastation tonight ❤
@@thebeddoctor4273 Asheville is devastating. I haven’t been over there in person yet due to limited resources. But my heart hurts for the people and also for the memories
I`m glad you are back with great content I was jonesing big time looking for a fishing video, I saw the devastation that the hurricane caused, and I feel for the people who lost everything and I hope they can sit back and watch your show, and get some comfort, Truly Sad!
Your Christmas spot Gatlinburg Tennessee was hit hard, and my mountain spot West Jefferson NC was also. Actually all of western NC and eastern Tennessee was devastated. These poor people are not prepared for this kind of weather, so keep your prayers going for them and everyone else south to the Gulf that was affected.
In my fishing experience we rarely had clear waters & I'm talking about the Gulf Coast from New Orleans over to Houston where I've done most my fishing. But fish are there, we just don't get to see them until they come up. Thanks for showing us what's going on in the aftermath..... peace
Love your videos Brant,,,, thank you bro,,,or young man,,,at 71 I've got to get up of my ass and go fishing but just you guys,,you B.Brad And B.B. bum and old C. Ron bless his heart,,,, guess the liquor got him don't know for sure but that would be my guess
I really enjoy your video. I live in the rocky mountains and mainly trout fish. I know my flies. I do visit Ana Maria Island and Tampa a lot and I am very familiar with bait fishing in those areas. Many of your lurers are un-familiar to me. I wonder if you have ever thought about doing a video focused on the artificial lures you use with close ups, hooks with close ups, etc... the riggings if you will. Again great videos keep em coming.
Fished the gulf state pier a few days ago and the west wind was so bad it blew my dads hat off 😂. Yesterday surf fished and fished a little at Bob sikes and same thing. Bad west wind and really merky rough water. Went out today and it was beautiful on Pensacola beach surf fishing. Caught a 14inch pompano, a few small sharks, some whiting, and some hardhead. All in all was a fun day and much better than it has been. Hopefully it clears up quick
I love your videos and if you can please help the communities of dekle beach, Keaton beach and steinhatchee, they need more help than you can imagine .
I went to ft Pickens on the bay side today and the water looked like a lake and crystal clear, I saw the most mullet in my whole life they were jumping in schools of 20 to 30 of them
I’ll be staying in Panama City Beach about 20 yards from a pier from Thursday to next Tuesday. Will be arriving the day after Milton, hoping to cast a line or two🤞🏻
I was fishing the Navarre pier back in May and knocked my brand new fishing hat right into the ocean. Fortunately I was able to get a hook into it and reel it back in.
Waterline does make holders 😂my wife lost a pair from a lady fish I hooked and it wrapped the line around here glasses in the boat. Bought the holders with next pair, they work😅
I’ve seen one too many pair of expensive sunglasses sink to the abyss fishing out of NC. Fortunately I have all mine strapped. But the other guys cried
My brother caught a sea robin and my dad tried to bring it back to Kentucky in a bait bucket to our surprise when we got to Georgia the smell was to strong lol
I'm new to your channel and I'm enjoying it. But I wish you would let us know why you can't keep some of the fish that you can't. It seems to me.There are some that are large enough when you are surfishing to keep, but you say you can't keep it. And another thing. Is there someone waiting at the dock to check how many fish and what size they are?
@@AnglerUpTv FYI, keep up the great work. Your content is the best on the internet. Heading next weekend for my annual surf fish at the outer banks. You have helped me more than words can express
Unfortunately it's a asian culture thing of keeping everything no matter what size the fish is and it had decimated a lot of lakes in Minnesota. Education really helped the hmong community to understand that keeping every fish is not a good thing.
I'm central NC. It's a shitshow in WNC. Looks like it may be a L a n d grab for mining. I feel for the folks involved. I'm happy that our Patriots are stepping up to help.
Brant there are not many TH-camrs that you can tell they truly enjoy what the are doing. I truly enjoy your videos. Please keep up the great work.
Thanks for taking us along! Glad y'all are ok! Prayers for everyone that's been impacted by the hurricane!God bless y'all
Fred the bird came and saw me today on Dauphin Island, two seconds later I lit into a very nice slot redfish. Fred knows reds!
Glad to hear yall faired well as I have been wondering.
Great video always fun watching you move around to different spots
Really appreciate the video. Thanks for taking the time to film!

Cannot fish confidently without polarized sunglasses. I agree. ❤
Great video🤙🏾. The eye of this storm was about 30 miles east of me in Perry Florida.
The fishing is great in Texas, but the water is filthy. It's awesome being a water snob!

Looks like you got a taste of what I fish daily…. Galveston, Tx!!😂
I’m in Jacksonville so we didn’t get the hurricane that bad but good to see that Pensacola dodged it also great fishing as always brother🤙🏼👊🏼🎣
Man! I was just there Friday, I was hoping to run into you lol
That water looks great Brant...come fish Charleston. Bring loud lures.
Ha. The fish react differently here. They are use to emerald green and when it gets muddy the bait moves out.
The whole giving the fish away Brant absolutely i think that's great although in Montana where i live it's illegal sharing limits is illegal
Hey man, long time you haven't sight fish with ladder remember that either you or beachbum a think but that was something new . Bless.
Our coastal waters here in NC haven't been the same since Debbie came through starting to clear a bit but it was straight chocolate milk

Keep us updated on the okaloosa pier I will be there on the 13th of October. We are coming all the way from Indiana to fish.
Me too, but from Ohio, see ya there.!!

The dude smacking the fish on the pier😂😂😂 guess that is one way to do it
He was probably asking it "who's your daddy?"😅

Yeah Brant that wasn’t to smart 😂
I was fishing the Navarre pier back in May and knocked my brand new fishing hat right into the ocean. Fortunately I was able to get a hook into it and reel it back in.
I was out on the Pensacola pier Thursday and Friday and it was terrible man, just 30 knot winds and not a fish in sight
Nice vid
That’s crystal clear water for upper Texas Gulf Coast!
That fish slam was aggressive lol!
I’ve done the same thing. I’ve lost a pair or 2 of waterlands that way
You should get one of those sunglass leashes so if you drop them, they’re still connected to your neck
I was thinking the same thing. 🤔
I was hoping yo guys are OK.....No damage at the house? I hope not....Many friends down there....God Bless.
fresh water is hitting really good too, strange.

5th day without power up in Grayson county Virginia. Wish I was down there fishing.
I’m going down to Pensacola in 2 weeks? Fishing still good at that time?
I’ve seen one too many pair of expensive sunglasses sink to the abyss fishing out of NC. Fortunately I have all mine strapped. But the other guys cried
Send your camera down. Thanks for sharing your videos. Stay safe
Fun fact: Sea Robin are called Gurnard in Europe and they are considered a delicacy.
@1:44 Here in Texas that is good water!
lol
In Galveston, that water would be called "clear."
Just catching sea robins, cobia and sharks. Oh offshore? Nah from the beach. Lol
My brother caught a sea robin and my dad tried to bring it back to Kentucky in a bait bucket to our surprise when we got to Georgia the smell was to strong lol
I hope everyone down there is gonna be ok!!! 🙏😢❤❤
👏👍
Would like to hear or explain what rod reel and line your using
Aw, it's okay. She's straight from mainland China. No rules...
How hard was your area hit?
Any recommendations on good pier rods in an affordable price range?
I live in Kansas city Missouri

What size rod is best for far casting spoons, bubbles, and gotchas from the pier?
7 foot, medium heavy, fast action - get's the spoons and gotchas WAY out there!
Honestly brother doesn’t look that muddy. Maybe just the video, but come to the outer banks NC, muddy is our life.
This is a whole different body of water. It’s usually emerald green and when it gets muddy the fish don’t like it.

I was happy to just catch 5 hybrid bluegill
You want flounder got to use thick sliced bacon
The water was still clear compared to port o Connor tx 😭
What brand sunglasses do you wear?
Waterlands
I’m moving to Navarre, this ain’t fair.
there is a pier on Navarre beach right across from the bridge.
Fishing the Apocalypse!🤣
Fishing now there is in “bad taste”!
I am disappointed that you said "Red fish, blue fish" and didn't just continue the Dr. Seuss "Black fish, Blue fish, Old fish, New fish."

Apparently, not so devastating.
my house had been destroyed in the hurricane

Sorry to hear that. 🙏
