    History will remember this man as courageous, and the idiots who condemned him as callous frauds.

      Agree with the former but I'd tweak the latter to make it "and the ignorant idiots who condemned him" Some people have a heart but just lack the upstairs apartment.

    I don't understand why everybody has to go all spiritual about life. You're born, you live and you die. Why does it have to be a "gift"? Life is full of pain for a lot of people, and if you gave them a choice, many of them would choose not to be born. How would not being born be a negative for anyone?

      They say think of the economy crashing, who will look after you as you age, what about all the child labour, indentured servitude the parasitic economic system needs to keep running. And best of all reasons is that God doesn't make mistakes and it's his divine plan to fill this world full of suffering just look at the biblical texts. It's all about controlling people

    Lol we lay our pets down when theres no solution, so they dont suffer. But we do not see this as a option for ourselves, we must suffer. Makes no sense. This man was a hero, gave up his own freedom to liberate people from there pain. Any one who can not see that, is blind to reality.

    The way i see it, he owned the reporter kkkk. Very interesting guy. Helping people out of their misery and being thrown at jail in the process? Wrong.
    He was really ahead of his time. Such a shame he's no longer here.
    Greetings from Brazil, everybody.
    Take care :D.

    Sanjay Gupta is totally unprepared for this interview. What a shame when he had a chance to glean something from one of the world's most progressive and competent persons to have ever lived.

    i dont understand why people hate him,i have high functioning autism with adhd and as result cant drive and cant get or keep a job.I wish doctor kaworkian was still alive today so he could help me die.For some people like me the only option is dieing and why would you keep people alive who dont even want to live?

  • @nikosalexopoulos6542
    @nikosalexopoulos6542 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Of course there is no virtue in being alive. Life is meaningless. Value is only in suffering as a negative quality. And all the positives are simply removal or avoidance of pain. Honest man. Why would anyone choose to come here if they could have the choice? Life is an imposition. Parents just trying to satisfy their needs, and using their kids for it

  • @pipset
    @pipset ปีที่แล้ว

    Yeah the people who put him away have no idea what excruciating pain is or what it's like to live with it. Dying with dignity is a gift

    Unless someone has been in suffering chronic pain every second for their rest of their lives, then majority of people would say he wrong for that but I say he is fucking right to end suffering of this is to die and there is no control and medication majority of the time don’t work . He’s right on ! Maybe if I didn’t have undiagnosed chronic debilitating torture pains I might be like most “normal peeps “ saying it’s wrong I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Dr. Kevorkian looks something like Nickola Tesla, maybe because he came from the same neck of the woods as Nicola Tesla did. I read that Dr. Kevorkian was a prodigy as a child. I also want to say that Dr. Sanjay Gupta is one sexy man in this video. Not to leave Dr. Kevorkian out, he has a sexy look about him too, He never dated, married, nor did he have any children. Could he have been gay, maybe he was. I'm sure that if he was, he didn't have any trouble getting dates. :-) Great interview. And by the way, I understand Dr. Kevorkian totally, and no, he wasn't mad, to the contrary, he was quite sane, and I believe that Dr. Gupta felt the same way but couldn't say that he did publicly for a fear of being ridiculed by his peers.

    • @lracseroom8286
      @lracseroom8286 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow. All the great things he brought to the development of the human race. Despite being American by nationality and Armenian by birth he brought the right to die on your own terms, and exstinguish pain with dignity and self determination and *you* are speculating on his sexuality.
      You're fucking disgusting.
