The Structure of Crystalline Solids
มุมมอง 77K4 ปีที่แล้ว
An introduction to crystalline solids and the simple cubic, body-centered cubic, face-centered cubic, and hexagonal close packed configurations. Special acknowledgments to XKCD creator Randall Munroe, as a primary inspiration through his illustrative, engaging teaching style and because I borrowed elements of his style in this video. I am in no way affiliated with the company Nintendo and have ...
I am speechless, this video covers in 20 mintues what 3 weeks of lecture tried and failed to teach me. I really thought this was some big materials science channel i somehow had never seen, the quality of this is so good. Everything from the amazing art to the great jokes, and even just the way you explain this really complicated and annoying topic in such a straight forward way is beyond impressive. Sorry if I went overboard, I have been comfused by this topic for ages and seeing it summerized so well feels sureal. I don't know if you have any interest in science education, but you have the potential to be an amazing teacher if you ever want to make more videos like this.
@@redhairshanks9491 thank you! It is always wonderful to get feedback on what (continues to be) a passion project. I am planning on expanding this into a series once I finish up my pHD, perhaps with a release in the relatively near future.
why only 2 vids i need more but thanks i understood it well
Dude keep making videos
thank you, this is the best video about this on youtube.
feriştah king
good video
you have clutched up for my midterm. THANK YOU. You should definitely make a video on crystallographic directions and planes and miller indices.
Thanks for breaking the topic down as it's a bit too difficult without enough visualization. I enjoyed the excellent and straightforward information with comedic scenes.
this is the best video ever
thank you for this i wish you had more videos but yeah thank for for being an awesome teacher
this video is fucking brilliant. i rarely become this happy while understanding my academics. it was not only easy to understand but it was entertaining to watch as well. thank you so much :)
thank you this helped a lot
Lee Susan Thomas Frank Miller Jennifer
Such a great video! Explained these concepts within 20 mins in the simplest, clearest way. Thanks a lot :)))
Thank you, very clear explanation. Plz do other topics.
03:23 thank me later

Words can’t describe how thankful I am for u man
better than any lecture class
I had learn that simplified line drawn model in first year uni, and was left super confused - looking at the much better 3D model, I honestly find it little help!
great way to explain this, thank you! too bad you didn't make many more videos, i think you have a great way of explaining and teaching
Thank you! I am actually done illustrating my next video and am close to publishing. Cold comfort for people who watched this video at release and are probably graduated by now😅
Please make more videos for materials science
@@SinenhlanhlaArnold glad you enjoyed it! The sequel will likely be ready by the end of the month
I wish I had this video when I was in 1. year of high school😂😅
Thanks, it really cleared things out.
Amazing ❤
This is by far the best video on crystalline solids on TH-cam!
Why did i follow this and then want and begin to take notes ... play WTF am I supposed to be some sort of material scientists why am I taking interest in this ADHD plus booze got me whildin right now
thankk u ,great explanation
I love you for producing this amazing video
Thanks alot this is superb ❤️❤️
THANKS MAN
oh my god did this random man from youtube just save me frustration from my inorganic class? thank you for your service 🫡
You naild it sir🫡 Please make more videos🙏
thanks bro that lecture was really help full for understanding the structure of atom
this was so helpful thank you!
ty so much for your explanation it really helped me
By the way you are a very excellent person ❤🎉
PLEASE make more videos. Your way of teaching is fantastic.
i want to know why i understand any video in youtube better than my professor
You explained what my professor could not explain in 3 lectures. I really appreciate it ❤👏👏

thank you! I had a really hard time figuring out the coordination numbers of the different crystal structures. Seeing it just as the number of atoms an atom in a crystal touches makes it so simple!
What my professor was unable to make me understand in 3 long lectures, you just did that in 20 minutes💥
Ok um.....I dont know why the actual heck you have such less subscribers but this was an extremely fun fun way of teaching and I didnt understand it much how hard I tried so thanks alot
no more?😢😢
Thanks for the awesome video! My inorganic chem final is tomorrow and I must say this is the best video out there reviewing topic!
More videos sir
I’m happy to say the next one is close to being done
woww so good thank youu so much for the help today is my solid state examination
