The most unrealistic part of this novel is how the mc got his sister so well behaved. Complex inner thoughts, cold logic on the drop of a hat even after seeing masses of corpses or herself and everyone around her in danger, the concentration to study advanced magic, a warm and compassionate demeanor, and she's not greedy or selfish any more than a twenty year old office worker. She's five by the side stories. She's. FIVE. She had a damn good right to be a cocky girl in her past life. She's no saint at all. She's a savant. Her brother gets a pass for being an adult in a child's body, but she's well past genius and no psychologist or child care worker could make a five year old child that smart even if they spent decades planning the kid's life out in advance. She's adorable though so none of my points matter.
I'm waiting for the last part. I'll try getting in touch with the traslator for it. I'd like to divide the uploads by narrative arcs with proper endings 😉
So the story is good so far but one thing is utterly wrecking it for me. See i like getting absorbed into stories but its hard in this one because it seems like the author has dyslexia when it comes to determining a conversation from introspection. Like there are times mid conversation where the conversation sounds like introspection and not a conversation. It just takes you out of the story when that happens. I hope the writing improves as it go cause thats a big drop in enjoyment.
I think that's a common trait for audiobooks in general. To avoid it you would need a voice actor that changes their tone for introspections, or the author should specify it everytime, which would be bad writing in itself and would get annoying really quickly xD For me, since I had your same problem when I first started listening to audiobooks years ago, it was just a matter of getting used at thinking a bit to discern the introspective parts. After a short while it becomes natural and you will be able to enjoy the story without noticing it anymore.
@@MasqueradeAudiobooks i can see that and it could also be translation problems as well. Ive been through about 30 audio books so far. It has gotten better on the subsequent volumes tho foe sure.
