- 6 Things you should NEVER do for Women.. (Stoicism)
Have you ever found yourself bending over backwards, changing who you are, or sacrificing your own happiness just to please a woman? You're not alone. Many men find themselves in this scenario, mistakenly believing that this is the key to harmony and affection. But what if I told you that there's a wisdom dating back thousands of years that suggests a different approach? Yes, I'm talking about Stoicism."
Today, we're diving deep into the heart of Stoic philosophy to uncover 6 principles you should never compromise for women-or anyone else, for that matter. This isn't about playing the blame game or suggesting you shouldn't care about the women in your life. On the contrary, it's about understanding how to care in a way that's healthy, respectful to both you and them, and ultimately, more fulfilling.
"Imagine this: You've canceled plans you were excited about because she hinted she wanted to do something else. You've twisted your values to match hers, even when it felt wrong. Or maybe you've lost touch with friends because she didn't like them. Sounds familiar? These scenarios don't lead to the healthy, balanced relationships we crave. Instead, they pave a one-way street to resentment and loss of self."
But fear not, for Stoicism offers a guiding light. Let's explore how to navigate the complexities of relationships without losing yourself in the process. Ready? Let's embark on this journey together."
1. Sacrificing Your Personal Freedom
"In the throes of passion or the desire to please, it's alarmingly easy to compromise our autonomy. You might cancel plans you were looking forward to, suppress your interests, or even alter your viewpoints to align with someone else's expectations. It feels like love, but is it really? Stoicism invites us to question these sacrifices. Are we giving up our personal freedom for affection, or are we nurturing a relationship where both individuals can flourish independently?"
"Think about it. Your integrity and freedom are priceless. They're the very essence of your being. When you trade them for someone's approval, you're not just losing a part of yourself; you're also setting a precedent for the relationship that's unsustainable and unhealthy. Relationships, according to Stoicism, should not be about losing oneself but rather about mutual growth, respect, and understanding, all of which are grounded in the freedom to be oneself."
So, before you bend your will to fit into someone else's world, pause and reflect. Are you acting out of love and respect, or are you sacrificing your autonomy out of fear and need for approval? Remember, a relationship built on the foundation of mutual respect for each other's freedom and individuality is not just strong; it's enduring. Let's not trade our priceless freedom for fleeting approval. Instead, let's strive for relationships that honor and celebrate our autonomy, guided by the timeless wisdom of Stoicism."

remember a relationship built on the foundation of mutual respect for each other's freedom and individuality is not just strong it's enduring
Absolutely! A relationship grounded in mutual respect for each other's freedom and individuality isn't just strong, it's enduring. It allows both partners to grow and thrive while fostering a deeper connection built on trust and understanding.
I agree with this!
What does stoicism do for you? I really admire and want to learn from you
67 and just found out I was stoic
Lol 😆
I’m 60, still learning about loving and respecting myself. Life is a journey and my attraction towards women was altered at a young age by shame and lack of support.
The 6 points really highlight the importance of maintaining self-respect and balance in relationships, from a Stoic perspective. It's a valuable lesson in not losing oneself while navigating connections. Appreciate the wisdom shared here!
One must find oneself first before finding others
Absolutely, understanding and embracing our own identity is the cornerstone of forming genuine and meaningful relationships. Thank you for sharing such insightful thoughts.
"The key to happiness is accepting the present moment as it is." - Epictetus
Even if you're a slave? I think not.
@@abelardogreen That is your choice...
@@abelardogreenI think you’re misunderstanding the statement. The acceptance of the moment doesn’t mean that you’re plotting a static life. In other words you can accept the moment as single point in a trip to freedom and happiness.
I really enjoy learning this stuff. At 80 years old, wish i new it when i was a lot younger!.That kind of stuff was never taught in any schools, that i know of. but with insight, and hind sight, wisdom comes from experence, and age.
Today why they teach is garbage, kids won't learned anything about life , good behavior respect moral ethics empathy emotions etc etc is really sad
same 100%!
"Do not waste the remaining part of your life in thoughts about others, when you do not refer your thoughts to some aspect of the common good." - Marcus Aurelius
I am now 80 years old and when I look over my life I realize that my faith in God and adherence to my deep rooted Christian principles, never wavering from my core beliefs, has ensured my well being all along the way.
Amen God Bless
And lots of luck. First you could be born in Central Africa, second you were born in normal family.
Amen brother!
I needed to read this, thank you.
Amen! Amen!
Emotional expression.....my key take away! Thanks for this.
Very useful and worth watching!!! Thank you very much for this video!!! 👸🏼💃🏼🙌🏽🙏🏻♥️
"The Stoic practice of mindfulness has brought greater clarity and peace to my life."
The issue of resentment is big as in Nietzsche's philosophy.
Please turn off the background music loop - it really distracts from the message! It's unnecessary ...
This is deep. Thank you.
Very good information on life, I have spent all my years giving out to others and seeing them waste my time and money. Not no more!
Strong Message! Keep up the good work and stay stoic!
A cogent summary of these six core beliefs in a single statement is : avoid marriage. You can't agree to disagree with a sibling from same womb let alone a complete stranger you met because you are looking for double reciprocal incarnations. Even the son of man was wise enough to stay away from women
😂😂😂😂. It's to avoid sex in total. The first mistake a man makes is to have sex. Once tasted, he is glued forever and all his actions will be rooted in getting laid effortlessly, this the mad rush to get money and other things money can buy to attract the best among women. One who has side stepped sex or can regulate it so tightly is the one that is free.
Amen! Love this video ty
Insightful ❤
Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank You For The Stoic Lesson On Relationships it's An Eye Opener😊

OMG, it's so distracting from the message.
IKR...At least change keys!!!
I'm 69 and start learning about this stoic wisdom. Thank you for uploading.
This is incredibly powerful. It should be taught in schools, regularly, from a young age.
Thank you for putting these points into one clear and concise lesson.
1..30pm it's all good stuff.think keep coming.❤
Fantastic. Amen.
Very informative and insightful. Thanks continue to produce more of these videos. Looking forward for more of them.🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Thank you
The information in this video is just soooooooooooo very deep and very knowledgeable for me … it has already helped me too understand the behavior of someone that I know but that I didn’t understand not until I watch this video for the first time … which is truly amazing! 👀🧐😊💯
I don't necessarily agree with #5. Healthy relationships do sometimes require compromise, but ONLY if your partner reciprocates this. Sometimes you do things for her that you don't care for because it means a lot to her (going to see a play, for example), and she may do something for you in return that means a lot to you, like going to a car show or something.
you do not need to compromise if you are doing something with love
Could have used this great advice some years ago. Some good stuff here.
Thanks.
Schools should have mandatory stoicism lessons
Well said
Good one
Thanks, very useful! But please delete the very distracting background music and the message will stand clearer.
Wise sayings
Best lesson in life 💪
Thank you.
Good Advice for men and women.
This is SOLID man! Totally my toxic marriage for 16 years
You had me at #5. I just couldn’t handle the background music.
"Circumstances don't make the man, they only reveal him to himself." - Epictetus
How does the Stoic philosophy of focusing on self-mastery and virtue apply to the concept of avoiding actions that compromise personal integrity in relationships?
Nice one
Keep walking towards the light.
Words to live by
Blessed be so mote be amen
I believe the message would be audible and prominent if you removed the unneccessary background music that keeps playing out
Good lesson for everyone
Men pay attention. This is an excellent video

In the context of relationships and personal freedom, how can this stoic insight guide us in establishing boundaries and maintaining our autonomy?
Happiness is not something that you get somewhere but it's something that we create for ourselves.

Stoicism offers a profound philosophy of resilience and inner strength, guiding individuals to navigate life's challenges with composure, wisdom, and a focus on what lies within their control.
Interesting
Good morning everyone ❤❤❤❤
Be well...
Great stoic info but don’t put back ground tracks on? Not good
My ex-wife did not want me to have friends, she was jealous, which in real life means she never loved me. Jealousy is about power and control, not love.
I recently found myself forced into a close living environment when my landlady was an obvious controlling character, who had a sexual attraction towards me.
That was a really frightening experience. I got out of there after 2 months. The memories are still haunting me. I got something out of it in the short term, but I think I would have lost my mentality in the long term.
As a Sigma male, this was a very disturbing experience.
Par excellence.
Great content and great voice but the music is distributing
Stoicism is an ancient philosophy ? I got to look that up bc this is being referenced on all these videos.
This advice works for all Adults...including women.
Understanding the costly nature of
Instinct/Tribalism and the benefits of Reason/Individualism is the goal.
"I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine."

So far atleast the top 10 comments I've read here,, not one person admits to any of these mistakes. I've been with many women in my life,, and about 5 or 6 serious relationships. In those serious relationships I've made most of these mistakes. What I called "not understanding women" was really me making these mistakes at one time another within the serious relationships that failed. My number one mistake that's not on this list is putting my faith in my lord first. And setting boundaries around them understanding and or being a believer in the same faith as myself. I admit I've made these mistakes on this thrope. This taught me it's me not them.
Have you ever thought that if each partner will not step forward to meet one another’s needs ,,, the string that hold the relationship will get most tension and eventually that string of relationships will break ,,
Relationship is about give and take,,, both party have to come to term of commitment,,, then work toward of being together happily,,,
Yes, these videos are designed to train brains to one mind globally. No more individualism, eventually.
@@tallcedars2310 then single life will be as you wish 😉,,,
For those of you who are Americans, these lessons are tricky because we live in a philosophically atomistic society. Atomistic means that each and everyone of us is an isolated atom: This is the American sense of freedom. Other Western societies are more cohesive because they are not atomistic, even in Europe. The lesson for us Americans to learn is that being selfish is not a virtue, least of all greed is good. We need to reinvent Capitalism under entirely different values or it will die.
I feel the Scilly n Spanish blood ,so European flavours in an Australian culture have their own battles in what is culture effics ,to my UK side of life it works well in its own way Scottish n Irish being a English place till more multi culture was accepted n became less victims of prejudices ,humour n more accepted has a greater good but the first take it hard n push on n there children more so it pans out n we move on better for it , so we learn to be n to grow in our environment n this apples to these basics of strength and commitment that does attract n give you a like I say very little n it spoke involumes by actions n straight simple words that can be clearer than a detailed description ,I see where I did too much but also others can take you away till u see its for there objective ,a sway in knowing you too well n agree to often ,great influence to be fresh in your body and mind 👍
oh sweet irony - a stoic channel using clickbait in desperation for their google paycheque.
Channel avoided.
I am trying to help a homeless woman who seems content to remain homeless. I am not going to help anymore after over a year unless she decides to come to a shelter, which so far, she would rather sleep at the City's bus stop benches.
Tks. much.
slow and sure
I have daughter granddaughter mother and can this doesnt apply the sacrifices we do for our family . Relationships require compromise but not if they are against your values . All my exes all wanted me compromise by drinking or getting high with rhem but after 21 i decided it wasnt good for me . Compromising to having a dinner that you wasnt your favorite is fine . It doesnt matter .
Lose the background music loop - it distracts from the message
Apt!
I am a man, on the 60's. As long as can evaluate, an happy guy.
Women!!!
That always had been a big issue for me. Forget Philosophy: Biology takes care of oneself.
what ai program/s do you use to make these?
I'd like to know that too.
6:48 "..ensuring that neither is given unchecked..." REIGN. As in governing or dominating power. like A KING (e.g. REX) would do/have (sovereign, governor, dominator, etc = REGNATOR, from which we get the word 'reign'.)
I like unchecked rain. Sudden showers can be a blessing that equalizes everyone, particularly in warm weather. Maybe not acid rain, though. I guess that should be checked. ^^ j/k like the vid. But please consider using grammarly or something to run your future texts.
😂👍🏻
Been there done that that why i am single now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you thank I wish I'd known this all a long time ago I was married twice both of them I'm a Christian woman if I run into another Christian woman😊 Christian woman everybody wants to play the I wanted to so many women want to play the Jesus want to play the I want to tell me who I can be with and where I can go and what and my last wife I was so glad to get rid of her I was going to pay to go away but I learned through all of that I'm a better man now no woman can play me or tell or tell me what to do and what friends in what I look at my friends my friends been with me from the beginning and I do have some good go
Once we separated and divorced I end up winning the lottery and wanted if my word are my words I can't help you😂
It means we are all "great pretender"..
Independents vs co-dependents
I've come to know this girl for 4years,and now she seems that it's time she wants a relationship with me but as for me will she be able to accept me as i love to be alone. She works in the F&B and has lots of male friends but she had told me that's its her job to have a close relationship and should not be jealous. I replied that we are not in a relationship so it's alright & so it has been 4 years and now she's making a move and asked me but my response was it's good that we are best of friends and my preference is maybe in the future as time goes along who knows but she responded we might be older by then where women features becomes like an old oak tree.My response was who knows what will happen as only true love will prevail and love never dies.
Your comment displays a thoughtful consideration of the situation and communicates your feelings clearly
It's important to acknowledge her perspective while also expressing your own boundaries and preferences
How do you envision navigating the balance between maintaining your independence and potentially exploring a deeper connection with someone who values close relationships differently?
You can never be independent inside a relationship as independent is seperate which is the opposite basis of relationship two that join and work together. Together is never independent
Yes that's true. So the best advice is DONT GET MARRIED😊
reign
Weak people are going to be weak, there isn't anything you can say to them to be different. they usually know it. I had a friend that didn't get a lot of female attention and when he did he was used. he knew it and there's nothing I could say to him to be different. some girls that used him should be in jail. that was the first time I realized you cannot change that person or the situation its just going to happen
what's up with the sudden accent in the end? XD
yea that threw me off, i was having some goose bumps and then the AI messed up the text to speech, moment ruined
❤❤❤❤❤
That's I believe in god ever day all day
No more for me.. I had enough of woman's lip..😮I sorry but, I've been there four times already... And, I'm done ✅😢
I suspect that everything in these videos, including pictures, text and voice, is generated by AI
All the stoic videos on here are AI generated
@@Hansblinkers So AI is telling us how to live now
yeah you said it yourself that you suspect it to mean you're not sure thus do not criticize without fact
@dusengejmv250 ...but he's NOT criticizing it, but simply saying that this is likely AI generated!😮😮😅....& it IS!😂...But it doesn't matter because it's only the computer repeating what a real human has analyzed & has programed the computer to repeat.😁😉
@@user-jx7cv2td4yOnly indirectly...AI is repeating what an intelligent person(s) has determined/analyzed what Stoics believe. So relax, the advice is real & quite good.😮😅
Being a woman, these are good rules for everyone, both male and female. The part of this I would like those men who practice Stoicism to reexamine noted in this video is the piece about emotion. Stoicism practice in its true form does not include being devoid of emotion or ignoring emotion, it is the healthy expression of emotion through clear communication. Men have historically been taught that if they are “real men”, they are “STOIC”; showing little in the way of emotion. This is not healthy for the man himself or the relationship. Conversely a male or female in a relationship should not vomit their emotions onto another in order to seek attention or control.
The definition of "stoic" is enduring pain or hardship without showing your true feelings.Isn"t that what we"re trying to get away from?
Thats not what stoicism is.
Oh no?-What is it then?@@msp_-_-uk6ge
