Makati does not need to compete. It has its own charm. BGC is really nice but for me, Makati's vibe is still where it's at
Same.

Makati just Amazing 🔥🔥🔥💙💙💙
Esta ciudad es maravillosa porque es muy hermosa en oiste de asia..
How I miss Makati, Ayala Ave. I used to work at Enterprise Center. 25 years ago, that was the newest building in the block. Now look at all those Skyscraper buildings.
Makati city is just a remarkable city in the Philippines with so many modern skyscrapers in Southeast Asia September of 2024❤❤❤
Nice
The Makati Financial Center in the Philippines.
Dream City 🔥🔥🔥
YES
Sana lagyan Ng subways at monorails Ang mga business district para di lang puro sasakyan at traffic 🚦🚦🚦⛔⛔⛔
Makati CBD was planned and developed by Ayala Land Corp. As far as I remember, Estrella was still the Mayor of Makati then.
Ayala and Ortigas are the cleanest business center. BGC has lots of detritus underneath those bushes. The dirtiest is Bay City (with lots of garbage around (especially in still to be developed areas) which could be attributable to its incipient stage). Vertis North is in its early stage but shows potential with nicely manicured park.
Ayala Ave lang pero sa ibang part ng Makati CBD dugyot 🤮
Please update video any other old building demolish building in makati.. and new construction building update..
Needs stores and restaurants. Not just banks. It's really boring
Pretty but there's not much to do in Makati that's why it's empty during Sundays unlike BGC 😊
It's similar to other countries' financial district/CBD. Its not a shopping district kase😊
It has series of malls too. From greenbelt malls, to land mark, to glorietta, to SM, to ONE AYALA mall. The fun is there on Sundays. Also, in the recent months, they have closed the Ayala avenue to give way for fitness enthusiasts, to do their jogging and other exercises. There are weekend markets too in salcedo and legaspi village.
I mean, I’d be living in makati rather than BGC. although I’d still be hanging out in BGC with friends.
@@JB-xm8qibingo! Makati has a certain charm that BGC doesn’t have.
You haven’t been to Makati on a Sunday lately, it seems.
Ayala Avenue is boring on the weekends, it's boring all the time really. But Legazpi Village and Salcedo Village both have a lot of life during non-work hours. They're neighborhoods where people actually live. So the vibe is different from BGC but it's not dead
Audio is crackling
Fyi, since it doesn't appear like you've been to NYC, "Wall Street" is a street...a block in lower Manhattan....not even a "district." Yes, they have some of the major banks and other financial institutions, but Makati is nowhere near like it.
FYI, since you didn’t know, this video is filmed on Ayala Avenue, which is, by the way, a street. And FYI again, Ayala Avenue is often referred to as the Wall Street of the Philippines because it’s the financial hub of the country, home to many major banks and businesses. This comparison is based on its role as the center of finance, similar to Wall Street in New York. We didn’t just make up that connection. FYI.
@@phdotnet888 LMAO!!!! I have NO reason to pretend where I live. I've been here all my life. I can't help it if you're stuck there. Don't come for me unless I send for you! Now, SIT DOWN!
@@rrubio6660the comparison between Ayala Ave and Wall St are just simply they are both financial hub! No more, no less. Yeah, Makati and BGC have high rise buildings like NYC, but of course they are different and similar at the same time. I lived in NYC and Makati. I am waiting on Horizon Manila, I’d probably buy there when I am ready to retire.
@@josephcada8888 And therein lies the dumb comparison. The whole stretch of Ayala is NOT limited to financial institutions And none of the major global financial players have "hubs" on Ayala Avenue. Even the country's own Philippine Stock Exchange isn't there anymore. Most Filipinos have a habit of comparing everything and every place in the Philippines to something else in the world rather than appreciating them on their own merits. I live in NYC and I would argue Makati definitely has its edge.
@@rrubio6660 Makati has its edge? On what terms? I love NYC, I don’t care how crazy and dirty it is! Yes, you are right, Ayala Avenue is not just finance center and same thing in NYC. NYC is NYC, Makati is Makati! You are pretty triggered on petty things! Ugh! Enjoy what you have and enjoy wherever you choose to live! Capisce?
